#1 Towel Museum Ichihiro
There’s really no other place that’s quite as passionate about towels as this place. This place was created inspired by Imabari’s history of towel making as Imabari was the top seller in Japan, however things changed due to cheap imports. Thus, the museum is created to reinvigorate the sales.

#2 Kumanosan Ishite-ji Temple
This is one of the most beautiful yet mysterious temple in Ehime. The temple has a 3-story pagoda, along with a treasure hall, and two ancient tombs that you can visit. The ground also has a museum where it tells the history of the area as well as a cave that leads to another exclusive temple.

#3 Minetopia Besshi
If you like exploring the depths of the earth, you should totally visit Minetopia as this themepark is built on an old copper mine. Here you can enjoy miniature train rides that uses an old mining cart tracks, pan for gold in touch pool, and interact with tiny train sets in the old tunnels.

#4 Suiha Kogen
This is the perfect picnic spot where being on top of the mountain can give you a picturesque view of both the Seto inland sea and the landscape of Ehime, pretty much beauty in every direction. This place is super popular in Spring when the flowers bloom, making this place even more beautiful.

#5 Botchan Train
If you want to explore the city, taking the Botchan Train is the way to go. This small steam train rides around the city in the most old school manner but with a modern comfort. Of course, one of the drop off would be a tourist attraction, Dogo Onsen.
