It’s a stairway to heaven for this rather unknown hiking trail. It’s steep and ends at a peak 2,800 feet above sea, and offers an amazing view of the island of O’ahu.

#4 Italy – Grotta Palazzese 

A unique seaside restaurant set inside a vaulted limestone cave that’s only open during the summer months. The hotel is located above the restaurant.

#5 Spain – The Alcázar of Segovia

Literally means Segovia Castle, is one of the most distinctive fortifications in Spain due to its shape like the bow of a ship. Rumour has it that this fortress was the inspiration behind Cinderella’s Castle. Now, it’s used as a museum and a military archives building.

This is a World Heritage-listed paradise limiting only 400 tourists each year. Famous for its twin peaks, breath-taking views and natural forest, making it ideal for walkers and hikers to discover the island on foot. Besides that, it’s also Australia’s premier bird watching destination.

#7 Turkey – Rock tombs in Myra, Lycia

These tombs were carved directly into the rock face that makes it an amazing sight. The reason for the tombs to be carved on a cliff because the Lycians believed that a mythical winged creature would carry them off into the afterlife. It is common for the Lycians but it certainly is unique to the rest of us.
