It’s the Holland Heritage Weekend! A weekend filled with old-Dutch dancing, music, and traditional costumes. In different areas of the park you will see living statues portraying Old Dutch Figures, there will be old Dutch bicycles and old crafts such as candy making and decorating wooden clogs. You can admire an old fishing ship and eel will be smoked. Naturally we cannot go without a cheese market with traditional cheese carriers. For children old Dutch games will be organized.
The Flower Parade of the bulb-growing area is one of the most famous in the world. The colourful floats are built using hundreds of thousands of hyacinths, tulips and daffodils. On Saturday April 23rd the 69th edition of the Flower Parade will follow its 40 km long route from Noordwijk to Haarlem. At approximately 15:30 the Flower Parade will pass the “Keukenhof Corso Boulevard”.
Time for a little romance for couples. Enjoy listening to beautiful classical music among thousands of flowering bulbs in a historic park dating back to 1857. You will feel you have stepped back into the 19th century amid people dressed in authentic romantic costumes.

Keukenhof is surrounded by spectacularly famous bulb fields. From the windmill you have a unique view of the bulb fields. Next to the windmill you can climb aboard the silent electric boat for a trip through the bulb fields, or you can explore the area the Dutch way, by bicycle.
