Kuala Lumpur, 7 March 2016 – The upcoming Matta Travel Fair, happening between 11 and 13 March, will see the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) promoting the ‘Experience Macao Your Own Style’ theme to showcase Macao as a unique mixed culture destination of East and West. Experience Macao brings the history, iconic cultural sights, local Macanese delights, thrilling adventures, entertaining performances and the various city festivals in Macao, together.
For the wanderlust seeking the best travel deals to Macao, there will be special travel packages offered during this fair such as a-3D2N or a-4D3N Mono Macao, and a-6D5N Macao with multi-destination covering the Pearl River Delta region, starting from RM574. For every booking made during the fair period, travellers will also be able to redeem mystery travel gifts from the Macao booth located at Hall 1, Booth 1443-1446 at Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC).
During this fair, local blogger cum sketch artist, Sock Peng will also be giving a talk on her Macao travel experiences. Speaking on the 12 and 13 March at 2pm at Hall 1M of PWTC, she will be sharing the little secrets of Macao and her favorite findings from food, to trinkets, to architectures, and to the best Macao moments.
Sock Peng, during her visits to Macao, also developed a series of colorful sketches of Macao’s heritage and culture. These sketches are now available on postcards at the Macao’s booth at the fair. “Simply pick a design of your choice, write down your messages and we’ll have it posted for you,” said Cherry Lee from MGTO.
With the Ruins of St. Paul's as the backdrop and the Portugese style tiles of Senado Square, the Macao booth at the fair is a fascinating sight that brings all the elements of Macao together.
