Turkish Airlines already fly to more countries than any other airline. And now, as official airline partner of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, we also fly to Gotham City... 

Gotham City, once a byword for crime and urban decay, has risen above its past to once again stand tall as an economic powerhouse of manufacturing, shipping, and financial trading. Centuries of industrial wealth have funded worldclass examples of skyscrapers and venues for the performing arts. Founded by a Norwegian mercenary, Gotham City is today one of the world’s leading economic hubs and a center of history and the arts.

The downtown edifices of Gotham, including Wayne Tower, the Ellsworth Building, the Davenport Tower, and the Clocktower, cast deep shadows at midday, and create an architectural court of kings. The city’s museums are second to none, with world-class institutions that hold priceless masterpieces in their permanent collections and attract the best touring exhibits from around the globe. Amusement Mile on the north shore embraces its dark carnival reputation. The Reservoir in Robinson Park is ideal for weekend boating, while Neo-Eden and the Wayne Botanical Garden have pledged themselves to the celebration, and preservation, of natural greenery.

Metropolis is famous for its forward-looking, optimistic spirit, captured in its nickname ‘City of Tomorrow’. With wide avenues lined with gleaming skyscrapers, and an entrepreneurial spirit that derives from its long-standing tech industry, it has an infectious energy that inspires visitors. While neighboring Gotham City can seem insular, Metropolis welcomes you with open arms.

The city, of course, is still emerging from the devastation of the recent Kryptonian attack, but Metropolis has made great strides thanks to hard work and corporate investment.

The grass of Heroes Park has healed the urban scars left by the Kryptonian attack, and a flurry of new construction – crowned by the gleaming spire of LexCorp Tower – is reshaping downtown. The most memorable icons of the city still stand proudly, including Hammersmith Tower and the Daily Planet Building, while Metropolis’ numerous museums and its Avenue of Tomorrow tech showcase are evidence that intelligence can win out over violence.

It contains comprehensive listings of sights, restaurants, hotels, entertainment and shopping to help you plan your trip, as well as detailed maps.
