YongPyong Resort is Korea’s first ski resort with a reputation of hosting multiple international ski competitions. This festival not only offers fun and exciting winter experience with skiing and snowboarding lessons taught by expert instructors, it also comes with a little skiing competition on the last day. There’s even an award ceremony for it.
Bringing a little Korean Culture experience, this festival planned an entertainment night on the last night of the festival where you’ll get to enjoy some K-performance and Tokkebi Storm (Korean Non-Verbal Performance).
By the way, the view from the top of YongPyong Resort's Dragon Peak is truly breathtaking. If you are a K-Drama fan, you are in luck because it's also the Shooting location of Goblin! This was the gondola that Eun Tak took up to meet Goblin at the peak in Episode 9. And the aerial view of the place (Mt. Balwangsan) is here! If you are a little bit more old schooled, well, this is also the shooting location for Winter Sonata.
~ We visit YongPyong Resort's Dragon Peak earlier this year, check out our experience here! ~
