This spine-chilling looking White Temple, also known as Wat Rong Khun, is a Buddhist temple located in Thailand. From afar, it looks like it was brought down from heaven but as you walk closer towards the entrance bridge, you are most likely to get a hair-raising experience when you notice tons of hand sculptures appearing from the ground.
A Thai artist, Chalermchai Kositpipat, designed this religious place in 1997. It was almost destroyed by an earthquake in May 2014 but the artist was truly motivated to rebuild it after much support from around the world.
For now, public can photograph the temple from the outside but inside remains close until certain structural cracks are repaired.
