Babel, Malaysia’s iconic and innovative health and wellness club, has officially opened the doors to its second revolutionary gymnasium facility in Suria KLCC. Located in the Ramlee Mall segment, cosily nestled between De Beers and Chanel, Babel KLCC spans two floors - Ground Floor & First Floor - occupying over 15,000 square feet.

To commemorate the momentous occasion, Babel hosted its Grand Launch ceremony, which was dignified by members of the media, business partners, influencers and celebrities. Hinted with the theme of ‘Carnival in the Jungle’, guests were left in awe by the real trees and greenery that garnished the premise. To entice the crowd, attendees were rewarded with a lucky draw session, where the luckiest winner walked away with the grand prize of a one-year membership at Babel. Other partners who generously sponsored exciting prizes included Fitbit, who gave a unit each of the new Fitbit Versa Lite Edition, Fitbit Inspire HR and Fitbit Inspire. Partners W Hotel offered vouchers to its glamorous spa while La Juiceria provided exclusive merchandise and vouchers.

Guests were whisked away from the hectic aura of the city, and thrusted into an atmosphere of vibrant tranquillity the moment they walked into the facility. An ambience of serenity - cultivated through the lush greenery and chic design - permeates the space whilst an undercurrent of energy lays dormant, ready to be peaked instantly at the touch of a button. 

When entering spaces like Babel’s HIIT Room, one can’t help but notice the elaborate array of geometrically arranged LED’s (comprising of over half a kilometre of lights) strewn across the ceiling, programmable to move and change colour in sync with the immersive surround sound system. The entire premise has been outfitted with a stereo system that would rival even the most established of nightclubs and make hardened ravers blush.

Attendees were introduced to the cutting-edge Technogym Artis Line equipment and were able to experience just a slight taste of the unparalleled accuracy offered through personalized data tracking.

Upon signing up, members will be treated to the whole suite of functions offered by the equipment incorporating the MyWellness app. With a flick of the wrist, users can use their key cards to log in to any single unit of the Technogym machinery, keeping a detailed, individually personalized database which they can then use to track their progression, or to share with the professional trainers on-site to devise a more precise and effective training programme. Moreover, members can even book attendance slots for any of the signature group classes offered by Babel through the application as well.
