Also known simply as Jungang Market, was established in 1980 and is currently a landmark and spot where tourist should visit for not only groceries but also a place to find good and authentic local food.
It’s a typical traditional market where vendors display their products along the street. This market is sectioned into 3 parts, the first floor is the traditional market where you’ll find fresh fruits, vegetables, all kinds of dried seaweed, an assortment of ready-made banchan (Korean side dishes), clothes and more. The underground level offers fresh fish and other seafood products, while the 2nd floor offers a variety of restaurants and coffee shops.
