Yes, it’s true, the Harry Potter themed cruise is really happening but it’s not what you think it is. We got too excited and thought that it would be similar to Harry Potter World Themepark where we’ll be able to fling our wands and drink butter beer. This cruise brings you around, visiting landmarks that appeared in the film series.
If you are wishing for a themepark on a cruise, sorry to burst your bubble but if you are one of those true fans who have been itching to visit as many Harry Potter filming locations before you kick the bucket, this is for you!
The Magna Carta, an eight-passenger barge ship, starts your magical journey from London with a traditional afternoon tea. The filming locations includes Virginia Water (where Harry encounters Buckbeak at the lake in "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban"), Dorney Court and Picket Post Close (the real-life 4 Privet Drive in the first Harry Potter film) and Christ Church College at Oxford University (the Great Hall at Hogwarts), as well as Warner Brothers Studios for a behind-the-scenes Harry Potter tour. Other stops include Hampton Court Palace and Windsor Castle. The trip will end back in London.
This Harry Potter cruise is a 8D7N trip with, so far, two departure dates, 19 August 2018 and 16 September 2018. For more info, visit https://www.bargeladycruises.com/
