Who doesn’t like a good cup of Vietnamese coffee and handful of delicious Banh Mi. So this round of flight price battle, I’ve selected Hanoi, Vietnam as our “holiday” destination. In 12FLY’s search engine, I’ve keyed the usual details with departure date on the 7^th August 2018 (Tuesday) and return on the 14^th August 2018 (Tuesday). Clicked ‘Find Flight’ and waited for the screen to load.

In the matrix site, we have Malaysia Airlines as the cheapest direct flight option at RM540. So, I opened up Malaysia Airlines’ website and key in the same details and selected the cheapest options.

It turns out to be the same price at RM540 if you book through the website directly. Plus, I think it’s more beneficial if you do want to collect Enrich points.

Malaysia Airline: RM540.00

12FLY website: RM540.00

Price difference: RM0

Then I thought, why not just compare the flight option next in line, Vietnam Airlines, since they have different departure timing anyway. Also, at RM567, it’s not too much more than the first option if you prefer Vietnam Airlines’ timing.

After selecting the cheapest option, the total come up to RM580. That’s RM13 difference. 

Vietnam Airline: RM580.00 

12FLY website: RM567.00

Price difference: RM13.00
