DAY 1 - Buenos Aires (Arrival)
Upon arrival at Buenos Aires airport, you will be met by our representative and escorted to your hotel. Our representative will assist you with check-in procedures and provide you with a detailed itinerary, covering all the services included in your tour and additional information on the organization of your Argentina trip. You will also receive a contact information sheet with all the hotel details as well as our offices contact information and a 24-hour emergency number. Rest of the day is free at own leisure, you might explore this beautiful city. The Autonomous City of Buenos Aires is undoubtfully one of the most cosmopolitan cities in these days. Its financial centre, its architecture, its fancy neighbourhoods and its contemporaneous atmosphere in constant movement, are some of the characteristics that contribute to outline the essence of being “porteño” (from the city of Buenos Aires). DAY 2 - Buenos Aires- Half Day City Tour
The city tour includes attractions such as the 9 de Julio Avenue, the Obelisk and Corrientes Street. The first stop will be in the Plaza de Mayo so as to visit the Cathedral and the Cabildo (Old City Hall). After that, the trip will continue towards the most traditional neighborhood of Buenos Aires, San Telmo, which is characterized by its old colonial houses and the cobblestoned streets. Later on, the tour will go to La Boca Neighborhood located in the south of the city. There will be a new scheduled stop so as to look around the colorful zinc houses that make up this area of Buenos Aires and that used to be the refuge and home for the first immigrants and popular artists. Soon after, the vehicle continues to Puerto Madero – the old port of the city that was turned into one of the most exclusive gastronomic and residential areas in Buenos Aires. The tour will go to Palermo: one of the most extended areas in the city and where it is possible to find the popular woods of Palermo with more or less 300 ha (741 acres) of gardens and artificial ponds surrounded by elegant buildings. Finally, the last point in the tour is Recoleta, which is one of the most selected neighborhoods and where, among other attractions, the Recoleta Cemetery can be found. DAY 3 - Buenos Aires - FREE & EASY
Breakfast by hotel, free and easy, own leisure time to explore city of Buenos Aires. You may tour around the city visiting the most traditional neighborhoods like San Telmo, La Boca, Congreso or Abasto, the most sophisticated ones like Recoleta or Belgrano, or the most modern ones: Puerto Madero or Palermo, birthplace of the vanguard design. You are invited to take thematic walks, following the steps of emblematic characters of either tango or Argentine culture, like Gardel, Evita or Borges. DAY 4 - Buenos Aires - Salta
Breakfast in hotel, at the set time, you will be transferred to Buenos Aires airport for flight to Salta. (domestic air ticket at ADD ON OPTIONAL) Upon arrival Salta airport, you will be met by local representative and escorted to hotel for check in, free at own leisure for the rest of the day. Salta, which in quechua language means “The Very Beautiful” offers the tourist innumerable options for visiting its landscapes, the vivid colors of its arid soils, extended salt pans, jungles with exuberant vegetation and the legacy of its native inhabitants. Its capital city having the same name, is 1,605 Kms far from Buenos Aires. In this province, adventure finds an oasis to challenge any expectation: trekking, horse riding, tyrolean crossing, rappel or bungee-jumping over the Cabra Corral Dam, rafting, paragliding at the Cuesta del Obispo, are just a few of the many available options. At the enchanting Puna with villages like Tolar Grande with a valuable cultural heritage, or San Antonio de los Cobres where the time seems to have stopped until the Train to the Clouds passes by, visitors may exchange smiles with local inhabitants, people that adapted themselves to the inclemency of a dry and cold weather, at an altitude of more than 4.000 mts. DAY 5 - Salta - Humahuaca Gorge Excursion
This is a trip along the Gorge that was declared World Cultural Heritage by the UNESCO because of the colorful landscapes and cultures that make up this one-of-the-kind destination. The tour will actually begin in the Purmamarca Village where you will be able to look closely at the well-known Seven Colors Hill, the town Church and the Craft Market located around the square. Then the vehicle will head northwards up to Tilcara town, where there will be a stop so as to visit the old Pucara (Fortress in Quechua language) and the Archeological museum before arriving in Huacalera; that place exhibits a wonderful landscape in a hill named “the skirt of the Colla woma” due to the shape it has. The next point is Uquia, with its church located just before the town of Humahuaca and here, you will get off the vehicle so as to visit the monument to the Native Indian made by the artist Soto Avendaño. After lunch and heading back to the south, it will be possible to admire the hill nicknamed “the Painter´s Palette” just on the side of the town Maimara. There will be a stop in the city of San Salvador de Jujuy in order to visit the Cathedral which exhibits an amazing piece functioning as a pulpit and that was made by the sculpture Lola Mora. You will return to Salta along the old road by a cliff and framed by exuberant subtropical vegetation until the arrival in the city of Salta.

DAY 6 - Salta - FREE & EASY

Cordoba, its capital city, bearing the same name, has an intense cultural, commercial and university life which turns it into an eligible option for congress and business meetings throughout the year. DAY 8 - Cordoba - World Heritage of Jesuit Legacy Excursion
Today you will leave on a full day tour to the Jesuits Ranches, declared World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. You will visit the “Casa de Caroya” Jesuit Ranch, which was used as a summer residence for students of the Monserrat College. After that, you will go to Jesús María, renowned for its Festival de Doma y Folklore (taming and folk music festival), where you will find the San Isidro Labrador Jesuit Ranch, pioneer in making wine in this area. You arrive later at the Santa Catalina Jesuit Ranch, known for the beauty of its baroque style church façade.
