Upon arrival Chengdu International Airport, local representative will pick up and transfer to hotel check in.

Breakfast serve at hotel, visit to Kuanzai Lane, street with ancients architecture and modern shops. Thereafter, proceed to Jinli Ancient Street, this neighborhood is part of the old city of Chengdu; it features hotels and small stores in old-fashioned style. Antiques are sold in a variety of different stores. It is very popular among both tourists and locals, especially at night, with many bars, restaurants, and nightclubs. Free at own leisure of the day, until pick up time proceed to Train Station and board to The Qinghai Tibet Railway bound for Lhasa, is a high-elevation railway that connects Xining, Qinghai Province to Lhasa, Tibet Autonomous Region of China. The length of the railway is 1,956 km. Train departs at approximately 21.30PM (subject to final confirmation), this journey will take around 44 hours (Train will transit on Xining after 22~23 hours).

The Qinghai Tibet Railway, enjoy a whole day Tibet's beautiful scenery. Train will pass by Shaanxi (Baoji), Gansu (Lanzhou) and Qinghai (Xining) etc. After 22~23 hours into the journey (7-8PM), the train will transit at Xinning. Please disembark the train with all your belonging, train staff will guide you board to another train (from normal train change to high-altitude railway which have an oxygen supply), continue a comfort journey to Lhasa.

Approximately 10AM (subject to final confirmation), arrival at Lhasa Station. You will meet and assist by our local tour guide and proceed to check in hotel. Have a good rest after a long journey to avoid the high altitude sickness. 

Breakfast serve at hotel, visit to Potala Palace, a winter palace of the Dalai Lama since the 7th century, symbolizes Tibetan Buddhism and its central role in the traditional administration of Tibet. The complex, comprising the White and Red Palaces with their ancillary buildings, is built on Red Mountain in the centre of Lhasa Valley, at an altitude of 3,700m. Continue visit to Jokhang Temple. Included on UNESCO's World Heritage list in 2000 as part of the Potala Palace, the Jokhang Temple is located in central Lhasa. The Jokhang Temple is a four-storey timber complex with a golden top. It adopted the architectural styles of the Tang Dynasty, as well as those of Tibet and Nepal. Thereafer, come to Barkhor Street, an old and traditional shopping street in the center of Lhasa. It is also a place where Tibetan culture, economy, religion and arts assemble and a place to which a visit must be paid. Then, visit to the only Mammon temple of Tibet the Zaki Temple. 

Breakfast serve at hotel, proceed to Yamdroktso Lake, one of Tibet’s three holy lakes, is located 110km outside of Lhasa. After about 3.5 hours driving, climbing over the snow pass of Mount Kambala, the lake finally appears. Seen from the summit of Kambala pass, the lake is a fabulous shade of deep turquoise. Leaving Yamdroktso is as spectacular as arriving, since you’ll cross the 5045m Karola Glacier, with its awesome roadside views of the Nojin Kangtsang Glacier. After around 360KM/ 9 hours journey, you will get into Shigatse.

Breakfast serve at hotel, visit to Tashilhunpo Monastery, the largest Buddhist Temple in Shigatse. Tashilunpo Monastery was founded in 1447 and is the largest Yellow Hat sect monastery in Tibet. Shigaste is Tibet’s 2nd most important city and Tashilunpo was the seat of the Panchen Lamas. Thereafter, drive around 280KM / 7 hours journey back to Lhasa.

Breakfast serve at hotel, you need to check out from the hotel and drive will transfer to the airport for domestic flight from Lhasa to Chengdu. (flight duration about 2 hours) **Domestic Flight exclude from the ground-package's price, please refer OPTIONAL ADD ON. Upon arrival Chengdu, ready for next flight departure to home (suggest flight depart after 1600PM) or own arrangement to your next destination.
