DAY 1 - Urumqi (Arrival)
Upon arrival Urumqi International Airport, local representative will pick up and transfer to hotel check in. Urumqi (also called Dihua in history) is the capital city of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. According to the Guinness Book of Records, Urumqi has earned a place as the most remote city from any sea in the world. Travel Tips:

DAY 2 - Urumqi - Tianshan - Urumqi
Breakfast serve at hotel, visit to Tian Shan Mountains, Heavenly Lake (include shuttle bus & boat trip). Tian Shan Mountains, also called Tien Shan, Celestial Mountains or Heavenly Mountains, is a large system of mountain range situated in the Eurasia hinterland. And what makes the Tian Shan Mountains more remarkable is that a high mountain lake - the Heavenly Lake (Altitude: 1,900 m above sea level). The melt water in the lake is crystal clear and quiet like a mirror, which is very beautiful with reflection of the snow peaks and jade green spruces. (Boat trip are not available during November - April due to the water on the surface of a lake is frozen) After that, visit to Xinjiang International Bazaar, which is the largest in Urumqi. You'll find a bustling market filled with fruit, clothing, crafts, knives, carpets and almost anything that you can imagine.

DAY 3 - Urumqi - Turpan
Breakfast serve at hotel, drive around 3 hours (180km) journey to Turpan. Turpan is a marvelous city blending Western and Eastern religions and culture together perfectly. Its geographical position is rather important. Lying at the junction of the east and the west of China, it has been a key point on the Silk Road since ancient times, with a great number of historical relics as well as unique landscapes. Upon arrival, visit to Flaming Mountain. It is the hottest place in China with the highest temperature around 47.8 °C (118 °F) and surface temperature over 70 °C (158 °F) in summer. It became very popular due to a classical Chinese novel, The Journey to the West by the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) writer, Wu Cheng'en, and its charming hero - the Monkey King. Then, visit to Kan'erjing Folk Custom Park (Karez systems). Karez systems are the life source of Turpan. In a sense, without them, there would be no Turpan culture. According to records, the history of the karez in Xinjiang dates back to 103B.C. Currently there are still over 400 systems. Karez are very delicate irrigation systems made up of vertical wells, underground canals, above-ground canals and small reservoirs. Next, visit to Jiaohe Ruins (include shuttle bus), is one of the most visually spectacular ruins of the old Silk Road. More than 1,500 years of history sits atop this 30-meter high plateau and because of this it has become one of Xinjiang’s most interesting archeological sites. Thereafter:

DAY 4 - Turpan - Liuyuan - Dunhuang
Breakfast serve at hotel, board a high speed rail train to Liuyuan (included 2nd class seat, about 3.5 hours journey). Then, drive around 2 hours (130km) journey to Dunhuang. Visit to Singing Sand Dunes (include camel ride). Singing Sand Dune (Mingsha Hill) is piled up with sand in five colors of red, yellow, green, black and white. The so-called singing sand does not sing by itself, but creates singing sound when people tread or slide on the surface of the sand, which is a kind of miracle of the nature. Crescent Lake is at the northern foot of the Mingsha Hill and is 118 meters from east to west and 25 meters from south to north. The crescent-like lake is surrounded by the sand but never buried by it. The water in the lake is very clear all year around.

DAY 5 - Dunhuang - Jiuquan
Breakfast serve at hotel, visit to Mogao Caves (include shuttle bus), a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Situated at a strategic point along the Silk Route, at the crossroads of trade as well as religious, cultural and intellectual influences, the 492 cells and cave sanctuaries in Mogao are famous for their statues and wall paintings, spanning 1,000 years of Buddhist art. Visitors can enjoy two amazing movies 'A thousand Years of Mogao Caves' and 'Splendors of Buddha's Palace' at the digital exhibition center and then take the shuttle bus to visit the caves. Then, drive around 4.5 hours (380km) journey to Jiuquan. DAY 6 - Jiuquan - Jiayuguan - Zhangye
Breakfast serve at hotel, visit to Jiayuguan Great Wall (include sightseeing car & museum). Jiayuguan is a pass standing at the western end of the Ming Dynasty Great Wall. Different from the well-known sections built with stones or bricks, Jiayuguan Great Wall was built with rammed earth, making yellow its dominant hue and helping the pass blend harmoniously with the surrounding desert. Then, drive around 3 hours journey to Zhangye. Visit to Danxia National Geological Park (include shuttle bus). Red is the main color of Colorful Hills. Under the sunlight, the seemingly endless hills form a sea of fire. Some of the hills feature rock stripes in different colors, looking like bright ribbons fluttering in the desert. The most representative spots of this kind are the Seven-color Screen and the Colorful Sunset, looking like a rainbow hanging in the distance. DAY 7 - Zhangye - Wuwei - Lanzhou
Breakfast serve at hotel, drive about 3 hours (250km) to Wuwei. Visit to Leitai Tomb, is a national key cultural relics protection units, located in Leitai Park, Wuwei City. It was discovered by local famers under an old locust tree in 1969. It is famous for the Bronze Horse unearthed in the tomb which is a cultural treasure and also the tourism logo of China. Leitai is a place of ancient ritual. As there is a Leizhu Temple built on the platform about 10 m high, hence the name. Then, drive about 4 hours (280km) journey to Lanzhou. The city of Lanzhou lies at the geographical heart of China, the capital of Gansu province, is a major transportation and industrial center and was an important stop on the Silk Road that linked China's ancient capital Xi'an with Central Asia and the Roman Empire. Lanzhou lies in the eastern part of Gansu Province along the Yellow River. On the map, the long, narrow province that carried Marco Polo to the eastern Middle Kingdom bears a slight resemblance to Italy. The foot of Gansu's 'boot' sits squarely between Qinghai and Shaanxi provinces, while its long, crooked leg reaches all the way to Xinjiang Province. Have a Yellow River Tour in Lanzhou. Visit to Zhongshan Bridge, the First Bridge over the Yellow River. Before Zhongshan Bridge was built there were many floating bridges over the Yellow River, but only one existed for a relatively long period. Used for over 500 years, the Zhen Yuan Floating Bridges was finally retired in 1909, when an iron bridge was built. This new bridge is what we call the First Bridge over the Yellow River. Yellow River Mother Sculpture, it was appraised as a piece of excellent work in the First Chinese City Sculpture Design Contest. The Yellow River Mother Sculpture has become a landmark building of Lanzhou. Then visit to The Waterwheel Garden. Lanzhou is the only city through which the Yellow River flows; there are thus many irrigation machines in the city. The waterwheel invented by Duan Xu in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) is the oldest one. Then, check in hotel for rest.
