ITINERARY / SCHEDULE
DAY 1 - Xiamen (Arrival)
Upon arrival in Xiamen, you will be picked up at Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport, and today’s itinerary begins as follows:
- Wuyuan Bay Wetland Park – Located along Xiamen’s Huandao Road, this coastal wetland park combines ecological conservation, leisure, and sightseeing. It is home to diverse aquatic plants and bird species, making it an ideal spot for walking, cycling, and enjoying nature.
- “One Country, Two Systems” Beach View of Kinmen – Situated along Xiamen’s coast, this beach faces Kinmen Island and offers panoramic views of the island. With its peaceful environment and gentle sea breeze, it is perfect for photography, strolling, and enjoying the seaside scenery.
- Yanwu Bridge Sea-viewing Platform – Located along Xiamen’s Huandao Road, the Yanwu Bridge features a magnificent design and offers stunning views of the sea and cityscape. The platform provides an excellent opportunity to enjoy the ocean scenery, take photos, and relax.

DAY 2 - Xiamen - Quanzhou (1.5H) - Xiamen
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Xiamen. Today activities includes:
- Gulangyu Island – Known as the “Garden on the Sea”, Gulangyu is famous for its unique European-style architecture and romantic island atmosphere. With no motor vehicles allowed, visitors can enjoy a peaceful and leisurely walk around the island.
- Exhibition of International Architecture – Gulangyu showcases architectural styles from various countries such as Britain, France, Japan, and Germany, earning it the title “Exhibition of International Architecture.” These buildings reflect the unique charm of East–West cultural fusion.
- The Most Beautiful Corner – A popular photo spot on Gulangyu where blue skies, red rooftops, and the coastline blend harmoniously. It is a must-visit location for travelers and photography enthusiasts.
In the afternoon, proceed to Quanzhou, continue visit following attractions:
- West Street, Quanzhou – One of the oldest streets in Quanzhou, it preserves many ancient buildings and traditional shops from the Song and Yuan dynasties, offering a rich historical and cultural atmosphere.
- Kaiyuan Temple – Built during the Tang Dynasty, it is one of the largest and most famous Buddhist temples in Fujian Province. The temple is known for its grand twin pagodas, exquisite stone carvings, and tranquil, sacred ambiance.

DAY 3 - Xiamen - Yongding (2H) - Meizhou (2H)
After breakfast, today activities included:
visit the Yongding Tulou King Scenic Area:
- Chengqi Building – Known as the “King of Tulou”, this is one of Fujian’s most representative circular earthen buildings. Built during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, it has four stories and hundreds of rooms, featuring a magnificent structure that remains well preserved.
- Shize Building – Constructed during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, this is a typical square Tulou symbolizing family prosperity and generational continuity. The building is adorned with intricate carvings and follows a well-organized layout.
- Qiaofu Building – Built by overseas Chinese, this Tulou combines traditional Hakka design with Western architectural elements, embodying the Hakka spirit of diligence, success, and giving back to one’s homeland.
Then proceed to Meizhou, visit the following attractions:
- China Hakka Museum – Showcasing the origins, migration, architecture, customs, and cultural heritage of the Hakka people, this museum is an essential destination for understanding Hakka history and spirit.
- Thousand Buddha Pagoda – Located in downtown Meizhou, this famous Buddhist landmark features a majestic structure housing numerous Buddha statues, symbolizing peace, wisdom, and blessing.
- Youluo Street – One of Meizhou’s most popular historical streets, it retains traditional arcade-style buildings and rich Hakka charm. The street comes alive at night, making it the perfect place for strolling and tasting authentic local cuisine.

DAY 4 - Meizhou - Chaozhou - Shantou (3H)
After breakfast, proceed to Chaozhou and enjoy tea and traditional performances such as Ying Laoye Ceremony, Lion Dance, Yingge Dance, and Chaozhou Opera, showcasing the rich local culture and heritage.
After that, visit the following attraction:
- Guangji Bridge – Built during the Song Dynasty, it is one of China’s earliest movable floating bridges and is known as “the world’s first beam-style movable bridge.” With its elegant pavilions and scenic river views, it stands as one of Chaozhou’s most iconic landmarks.
- Chaozhou Ancient City (including electric car ride) – The ancient city preserves numerous lanes and residences from the Ming and Qing dynasties. Taking an electric car tour allows visitors to admire traditional archways, historic alleys, and exquisite local handicrafts.

DAY 5 - Shantou - Nan'ao Island - Shantou (1H)
After breakfast, proceed to Nan'ao Island, today activities includes:
- Nan’ao Bridge – Stretching approximately 11 kilometers, this impressive bridge connects downtown Shantou with Nan’ao Island. It is China’s first bridge integrating an island, strait, and deep-water channel. As you drive along, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the vast ocean and blue sky.
- Internet-famous Lighthouse – A charming white lighthouse by the seaside, popular among visitors for its romantic ocean views and perfect photo opportunities. It is especially beautiful at sunset.

DAY 6 - Shantou - Xiamen (3H)
After breakfast, proceed to Shantou. Today activities include:
- Shantou Xiaogongyuan (Small Park) Opening Port Area – One of the most iconic historic districts in Shantou, this area bears witness to the city’s prosperity during the 19th-century treaty port era. It features rows of Western-style arcade buildings blending Chinese and Western architecture, exuding a nostalgic charm and often praised as a “miniature of Nanyang heritage.”
- Seaside Promenade – A scenic coastal walkway offering sweeping views of the ocean and city skyline. It’s a favorite spot among locals for leisurely strolls and watching the sunset.
- Chen Cihong’s Former Residence in Chenghai – Built in the late Qing Dynasty, this was the home of renowned overseas Chinese businessman Chen Cihong. The mansion showcases a blend of Chinese and Western architectural styles, featuring exquisite wood carvings, plaster reliefs, and stone sculptures that reflect the craftsmanship and culture of the Chaoshan region.
