Ahe Highway (via Wuxilike – Tongba Forest – Tuolehait) – Ahe Highway is a famous scenic route in Northern Xinjiang, renowned for its stunning landscapes. The road passes through vast grasslands, pristine forests, and snow-capped mountain pastures. Ushilik Grassland is expansive and magnificent, Tongba Forest is quiet and serene, and Tolehait Pasture offers a picturesque blend of mountains and rivers, making it an excellent route to appreciate the natural beauty of Altay.
Hemu Village is a traditional Tuva wooden house village, known as “China’s most beautiful fairytale village.” Nestled by mountains and rivers, the village is enchanting in all seasons, especially in autumn when golden birch trees contrast beautifully with the wooden houses. It is a popular destination for photography and leisurely vacationing.
