DAY 2 - Xi An
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, visit the Xi’an Ancient City Wall, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built during the 14th century under Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang of the Ming Dynasty. In ancient China, city walls served as military defense systems to protect cities or towns. The Ancient City Wall is one of the oldest, largest, and best-preserved city walls in China, showcasing the “complete features” of feudal-era wall construction. Next, head to Yongxingfang. Yongxingfang is a street district dedicated to offering intangible cultural heritage cuisine from Shaanxi Province. In addition to local delicacies, the night view of the area is also a highlight. Yongxingfang gathers a wide variety of local foods and snacks, maintains good hygiene standards, and is increasingly favored by tourists over the Muslim Quarter. It is considered a second Muslim Quarter of Xi’an. Then, enjoy a special Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) experience, which is a complimentary activity. The Hanfu can be returned before heading back to the hotel that evening. Afterward, visit the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda Square. The Giant Wild Goose Pagoda is a symbol of Xi’an, a well-preserved ancient structure, and one of Buddhism’s holy sites. Located within the Da Ci’en Temple, it attracts many visitors due to its religious significance in Buddhism and its simple yet captivating architectural style. Finally, explore the Great Tang All Day Mall (Datang Everbright City), where you can immerse yourself in the splendid urban scenery of the Tang Dynasty and experience the charm of these ancient buildings. Highlights include architectural styles, pedestrian streets, light shows, and performances. (This is a complimentary activity; no refund will be provided if you choose not to participate.) DAY 3 - Xi An
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, head to visit the Terracotta Army Museum. The Terracotta Warriors were created to accompany the tomb of China’s first emperor as funerary statues. Thousands of life-sized, intricately detailed terracotta figures represent Emperor Qin Shi Huang’s imperial guard. These statues were crafted in parts, fired in kilns, then assembled and painted. The Terracotta Army Museum in Xi’an is a must-visit attraction, regarded as one of the greatest archaeological sites in the world and one of the most significant discoveries of the 20th century. Next, visit the Mausoleum of Emperor Qin Shi Huang (includes entrance ticket and electric shuttle ride). This site features the earliest discovered, large-scale, and well-preserved bronze chariots and horses in archaeological history. Archaeologists have restored them, and they have been on public display since 1983. The bronze chariots and horses were among the burial items of Emperor Qin Shi Huang, symbolizing part of his imperial carriage procession. Mount Hua, one of China’s renowned Five Great Mountains, stands at an elevation of 2,154.9 meters. It is not only majestic and awe-inspiring but also steep and dramatic, with towering cliffs and elegant peaks. Known for its extreme peril and breathtaking scenery, it has earned the reputation of being "the most dangerous mountain under heaven" and "the most perilous of all mountains" since ancient times. Because of this, Mount Hua has long attracted countless adventurers. DAY 5 - Xi An (Departure)
After breakfast, visit the Xi’An Museum (Small Wild Goose Pagoda). The Small Wild Goose Pagoda is located on the central axis of Jianfu Temple in the southern part of Xi’an. It is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction and a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. The pagoda structure has been preserved since the Tang Dynasty (618–907 AD). Next, explore the cultural relics exhibition hall (The Stories Behind the National Treasures). The main exhibition at the Xi’an Museum focuses on the theme “Ancient Capital Xi’an,” highlighting the city’s history as the capital of 13 dynasties over more than a thousand years. It emphasizes the development of Xi’an as an imperial capital. There are also themed exhibition areas on Buddhism in Chang’an and ancient Chinese calligraphy and painting. Then, head to Gaojia Courtyard for a shadow puppet show. Shadow puppetry, also known as "shadow play," is a traditional form of Chinese folk puppet theater that uses figures made from animal hide or cardboard. These silhouettes are projected onto a backlit screen to perform stories, making it one of the most widespread forms of traditional puppetry in China. Afterward, visit the Bell and Drum Tower Square. Also known as Shangshu Sheng Square, it is located at the intersection of Xi’an’s four main streets (East, West, South, and North). Covering 60,000 square meters, it is the second-largest square in China, following Tiananmen Square in Beijing. On the east side stands the over-600-year-old Bell Tower, and on the west side, one of the largest Drum Towers in the country. (Note: Tickets to ascend the Bell or Drum Tower are not included. If you wish to go up, please purchase tickets at your own expense. Bell Tower: RMB 30/person; Drum Tower: RMB 30/person.) Finally, head to the Muslim Food Street. The Muslim Quarter is more than just a single street—it refers to several streets in Xi’an’s city center where the Muslim community is concentrated. It includes Beiyuanmen, Beiguangji Street, Xiyangshi, and Dapiyuan Street. This area is a hub for Xi’an-style street food and snacks. As a Muslim district with hundreds of years of history, it also offers a strong cultural and religious atmosphere.
