DAY 1 - Amman (Arrival)
Upon arrival Amman, you will meet to our local representative and check in to hotel. Rest of the day is free at own leisure, you might explore this beautiful city. Jordan is a Kingdom steeped in history and culture. DAY 2 - Amman - Petra
Breakfast served at hotel, drive around 1 hour journey to Madaba, The Mosaics City. Madaba is the fifth most populous town in Jordan. It is best known for its Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics, especially a large Byzantine-era mosaic map of the holy-land. Madaba has a very long history stretching from the Neolithic period. The town of Madaba was once a Moabite border city, mentioned in the Bible in Numbers 21:30 and Joshua 13:9. Madaba dates from the Middle Bronze Age. Then, visit to Mount Nebo, the faith mountain and The Views of the Promised Land. Mount Nebo is an elevated ridge that is approximately 817 meters (2680 feet) above sea level. The view from the summit provides a panorama of the Holy Land and, to the north, a more limited one of the valley of the River Jordan. The West Bank city of Jericho is usually visible from the summit, as is Jerusalem on a very clear day, according to ancient tradition; this is the mountain from which Moses saw the Promised Land before he died. Because of its connection to Moses, Mount Nebo has long been an important place of Christian pilgrimage. Next, drive around 1 hours journey and visit to UM Rassas. Umm al-Rasas is an important archaeological site located about 30 km southeast of Madaba that was declared a World Heritage Site in 2004. Its structures date from the 3rd to 9th centuries. The site is especially known for its magnificent Byzantine mosaics, which have been uncovered in two churches dating from the 6th and 8th centuries. This site has been inhabited since at least the Iron Age (7th century BC). Thereafter, drive around 2 hours journey and visit to Shobak Castle, the Royal Mountain. Shobak is situated midway between Kerak and Petra and is 248km from Amman, 25km north of Petra. The castle was built in 1115 by Baldwin I of Jerusalem during his expedition to the area where he captured Aqaba on the Red Sea in 1116. Originally called 'Krak de Montreal' or 'Mons Regalis', it was named in honor of the king's own contribution to its construction (Mont Royal). DAY 3 - Petra
Breakfast served at hotel, full day visit in Petra, The Rose Red City. The city of Petra, capital of the Nabataean Arabs, in 1985, the Petra Archaeological Park was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site, and in 2007 it was named one of the new seven wonders of the world. Located 240 km south of the capital Amman and 120 km north of the red sea town of Aqaba. Carved directly into vibrant red, white, pink, and sandstone cliff faces the prehistoric Jordanian city of Petra was "lost" to the western world for hundreds of years. Petra, the world wonder, is without a doubt Jordan’s most valuable treasure and greatest tourist attraction. It is a vast, unique city, carved into the sheer rock face by the Nabataeans, an industrious Arab people who settled here more than 2000 years ago. DAY 4 - Petra - Wadi Rum - Dead Sea
Breakfast served at hotel, drive around 2 hours journey and visit to Wadi Rum with 2 hours Jeep Ride. Wadi Rum also known as The Valley of the Moon is a valley cut into the sandstone and granite rock in south Jordan at 60 km to the east of Aqaba. Creating a natural challenge for serious mountaineers, hikers and desert lovers can enjoy the tranquility of the boundless empty spaces and explore the canyons and water holes to discover 4000 years old rock drawings and many other spectacular treasures this vast wilderness holds in store. Tonight, stay at Wadi Rum Camp. Then, drive around 4 hours journey proceed to Dead Sea, the lowest point on the world. Without a doubt the world’s most amazing place, the Jordan Rift Valley is a dramatic, beautiful landscape, which at the Dead Sea, is over 400m (1,312 feet) below sea level, this vast stretch of water receives a number of incoming rivers, including the River Jordan. Once the waters reach the Dead Sea they are land-locked and have nowhere to go, so they evaporate, leaving behind a dense, rich, cocktail of salts and minerals, one of the most spectacular natural and spiritual landscapes in the world & the Jordanian east which has evolved into a major hub of both religious and health & wellness tourism in the region. Check in to hotel in Dead Sea, take a dip in its waters for a very unusual experience. DAY 5 - Dead Sea - Amman
Breakfast served at hotel, drive back to Amman. En-route, visit to Jerash, The ancient roman city. A close second to Petra on the list of favorite destinations in Jordan is the ancient city of Jerash, which boasts an unbroken chain of human occupation dating back more than 6,500 years, located 48 kilometers to the North of Amman. Jerash lies on a plain surrounded by hilly wooded areas and fertile basins. Conquered by General Pompey in 63 BC, it came under Roman rule and was one of the ten great Roman cities of the Decapolis League. The city's golden age came under Roman rule, during which time it was known as Gerasa, and the site is now generally acknowledged to be one of the best-preserved Roman provincial towns in the world. Then, visit to Ajloun, creativity of medieval Muslim military Castle. Ajloun located 73 kilometers from Amman, winds through fertile green hillsides lined with olive groves. The main attraction in ‘Ajloun is the stronghold of Qala’at al-Rabadh, a fine example of medieval Arab/Islamic military architecture. The castle was built in 1185-1184 CE. DAY 6 - Amman - Desert Castle - Amman
Breakfast served at hotel, drive around 1 hour journey and visit to Desert Castles, The Islamic architecture. Jordan's desert castles, clustered to the east and south of Amman beautiful examples of both early Islamic art and architecture, stand testament to a fascinating era in the country's rich history. Their fine mosaics, frescoes, stone and stucco carvings and illustrations, inspired by the best in Persian and Graeco-Roman traditions, most of the preserved Castles are: Quseir Amra, one of the best preserved monuments, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its interior walls and ceilings are covered with lively frescoes, and two of the rooms are paved with colorful mosaics. Also visit to Qasr A-Kharana and Qasr Azraq. The black basalt fort at Azraq, in continuous use since Late Roman times, was the headquarters of Lawrence of Arabia during the Arab Revolt. DAY 7 - Amman (Departure)
Breakfast served at hotel, your day start with Amman City Tour. Amman is the capital and largest city of Jordan, the city was originally built on seven hills. In the commercial heart of the city, the old city, Citadel, Roman Theater and ultra-modern buildings, Amman is considered to be one of the most "westernized" and cosmopolitan cities in the Arab world.
