ITINERARY / SCHEDULE
DAY 1 - Tawau (Arrival) - Semporna - Mataking Island

Upon arrival Tawau Airport, meet and greet by our local representative then take around 70 minutes drive transfer to Semporna Jetty and take around 45 minutes speedboat to Mataking Island. Mataking Island The Reef Dive Resort is the only one of the pioneer in the development of recreational diving and resort management in the Island. With its sparkling white sand, mesmerizing blue waters and top-class resort, Mataking Island is the ideal getaway for both the avid diver and non-diver. After arrival, check in resort and free at own leisure. Dinner will serve in resort. 

Boat Schedule: DAILY from Semporna Jetty to Mataking Island: 0930AM, 1200PM or 1630PM (Subject to change by resort boat schedule)

Package rate EXCLUDED Semporna Jetty Fee of (International) MYR 10 or (Malaysian) MYR 2 per person per entry which travelers have to pay at existing jetty. This jetty fee is imposed by The Municipal Council of Semporna.

DAY 2 - Mataking Island

After breakfast, free and own leisure, you may rent a set of snorkelling equipment at the diving centre which cost MYR 25 per set per day, and free rental for beach towel and life jacket. Free snokelling around the island. With its sparkling white sand, mesmerizing blue waters and top-class resort, Mataking Island is the ideal getaway for both the avid diver and non-diver.

Non-diving activities include a luxurious pampering experience at Jamu Spa, batik painting, kayaking, canoeing and jungle-trekking to name a few. A must-do during your time in Mataking is to take a leisurely walk to Pulau Mataking Kecil (literally meaning Small Mataking island) which is a 20-minute walk from the main island.
