Refresh yourself at Taaras Lounge while waiting for local representative and transfer you to Merang Jetty. Located at the arrival hall of the Sultan Mahmud Airport, Kuala Terengganu, the Taaras Lounge offers guests a welcoming atmosphere while waiting for the land transfer to the jetty. Complimentary snacks and beverages, Wi-Fi, charging stations, reading materials and a flat screen television are available for your comfort.

Crystal clear waters, white sandy beaches await you. The Taaras Beach & Spa Resort is located off the north east coast of Malaysia on Redang Island. Situated in the South China Sea, Redang is the largest island - 6km by 7km - of the Redang archipelago. The island is surrounded by crystal clear waters and home to numerous dive sites and abundant marine life.

The coral collection is generally excellent all year round, but can be influenced periodically by weather and sea conditions. The waters surrounding Redang offer designated conservation sites including a protected marine park and turtle sanctuary.

The resort hides away from the outside world just off the east coast of tropical Malaysia. The word ‘TAARA’ comes from the 4000 year old Sanskrit language - meaning ‘Goddess of the sea’, ‘The star’ and ‘The apple of my eye'.

The resort houses 190 stylish suites and rooms, as well as a stunning five-bedroom private villa perched high up on the cliff overlooking the ocean and resort below. This is your ‘home away from home’ where a team of highly dedicated staff will assist you at all times.

Then take around 45 minutes - 1 hour boat ride to The Taaras Island. Upon arrival, check in resort and at own leisure.

After breakfast, enjoy your stay at the resort before your snorkeling trip begin.

The 1 hours experience start from 10am or 4pm daily (reconfirm of your snorkeling trip is required upon check-in). Enjoy snorkeling with turtles and discover the world beneath the waves of the Malaysian peninsula.
