ITINERARY / SCHEDULE
DAY 1 - Kathmandu (Arrival)
Upon arrival Kathmandu airport, pick-up by local representative. Visit to Kathmandu City which cover Durbar Square complex of palaces, courtyards and temples, built between the 12th and 18th centuries, used to be the seat of the ancient Malla kings of Kathmandu. Then, visit to Swayambhunath Stupa, watches over the valley from the top of a hillock on its western side. The stupa is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Nepal and its establishment is linked to the creation of the Kahtmandu Valley out of a primordial lake. Swoyambhu is also known as Sengu and is listed as a World heritage site. DAY 2 - Kathmandu - Chitwan
Breakfast serve at hotel, check out hotel and take about 5 hours drive to Chitwan and is about 165 KM. Royal Chitwan National Park (932 Sq Km) is listed as a world heritage Site and is the most popular safari destination in Nepal. It covers a unique ecosystem, containing hills, ox-bow lakes and flood plans. Dominated by sal forests, the park has 50 species of grasses. The 43 species of animals include the endangered one-horned rhino, Royal Bengal Tiger, gharial crocodile, gaur, wild elephant, four horned antelope, striped hyena, pangolin, monitor lizard and pythons. DAY 3 - Chitwan
Breakfast serve at hotel, begin the Meaning ‘Heart of the Jungle’, Chitwan is famous as one of the best wildlife-viewing national parks in Asia, and you’ll have an excellent chance of spotting one-horned rhinos, deer, monkeys and 450 species of birds. If you’re extremely lucky, you’ll see leopards, wild elephants and sloth bears – though it’s the once-in-a-lifetime chance to spot a majestic royal Bengal tiger that attracts people in their droves. (Is all about your luck!). Today, full day National Park activities in Chitwan National Park and slow down your steps, let’s enjoy the relaxation & greenery during your stay. You may experience the activities such as elephant riding, canoeing, nature walk and so on (all activities subject to change and based on the actual arrangement during the tour). Some tips are recommended for naturalist in National Park if any. DAY 4 - Chitwan - Pokhara
Breakfast serve at hotel, drive to Pokhara which will take about 4.5 hours drive duration and is about 137 KM. Pokhara is a place of remarkable natural beauty. Indeed, the valley surrounding Pokhara is home to thick forest, gushing rivers, emerald lakes and of course, the world famous views of the Himalayas. En-route, lunch at local restaurant and continue journey, we should arrive at Pokhara in the evening. Phewa Lake, enjoy the boating (with life jacket). The serenity of Phewa Lake and the magnificence of the fishtail summit rising behind it create an ambiance of peace and magic. DAY 5 - Pokhara
Earlier in the morning, take a sunrise excursion trip to Sarangkot Hills (subject to weather condition), the summit which takes us about an hour to reach the offers as panoramic view of the ultra bright sunshine. Then, return back to hotel. After hotel breakfast, begin the Pokhara city tour with Tibetan Refugee Camp in Pokhara. The Tibetan people living in these villages keep themselves busy by producing and trading in woolen carpets and other handicraft items. They also run souvenir shops around lakeside. Some of them work like hawkers selling souvenirs at bargaining prices. Then, visit to Devi‘s Falls, not far from town where you can see a waterfall appearing from nowhere into many pools and finally disappearing after flowing through small cascades info cracks in the ground. Thereafter, visit Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, is a famous cave in Pokhara. Inside the cave we can find the temple of the Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva is great god of Hindu. People worship to Lord Shiva and pray for theirs happiness and wealth. You can also see the beautiful temple in this cave. Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave a huge stalagmite worshiped as a Shiva lingams. The ticket only covers the temple, there you can pay another a low tunnel behind the cave, the behind a spring waters of Devi's Falls. At the ceiling of the cave, you can see cracks and beautiful mark by the force of the waters. There are two cave inside it. You have to pay entry fee to see the natural cave of Gupteswor, electricity is managed for convenience of visitors. Second part of the cave closes during June, July, August and September due to heavy rain and flood from Devi's fall. It is an interesting experience to visit Gupteswor. DAY 6 - Pokhara - Nagarkot
Breakfast serve at hotel, drive around 1 hour to Nagarkot (altitude 2175m), is a hill resort 32 Km east of Kathmandu. Passes through terraced fields and strutted houses, you can view the spectacular mountain ranges such as Annapurna I, II, III, Dorjee Lakpa, Guari Shanker, Shisabangma and Ganesh Himal. DAY 7 - Nagarkot - Kathmandu
Earlier in the morning, take a Sunrise excursion trip in Nagarkot (subject to weather condition). Then, return back to hotel. After hotel breakfast, check out hotel and drive back to Kathmandu about 1 hour 30 minutes (35KM). Enroute, visit to Bhaktapur City. As you walk in you cannot but be over come by a feeling of inner harmony. Such is the art and architecture and the special layout here. The 15th century palace of 55 windows, situated to the left as you enter through the city gate, inspire admiration. Upon arrival, visit to Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most sacred hindu shrines in the world, pashupatinath lies 5 Km east of the city center. The richly-ornamented pagoda houses the sacred linga, or phallic symbol, of Lord Shiva. Devotees can be seen taking ritual dips in the holy Bagmati river flowing beside the temple, also a World heritage site. Then, visit to Boudhanath Stupa, lies about 6 km to the east of downtown Kathmandu and is the largest stupa in the valley. It looms 36 meters high and present one of the most fascinating specimens of stupa design. Boudhnath a world heritage, is also known as Khasti. There are more than 45 Buddhist monasteries in the area. Thereafter, free time shopping at Thamel Street, there are thousands of things you can buy as your sourvenir to home. Nepalese dinner with dance show will be served at local restaurant.
