ITINERARY / SCHEDULE
DAY 1 - Kaohsiung (Arrival) - Tainan
Arrival Kaohsiung International Airport, local representative will pick up and transfer to lunch. Proceed Tainan City, visit to Anping Fort. The remaining more than 70 meters long south walls of the outer fort with worn-out red bricks, accompanied by the old banyan roots, chanted its odyssey. The fort is the very historical replica over three hundred years. Then, visit to Anping Old Street. Walking on the streets, you will discover “clod houses”, brick houses, and western style houses along the way. Food is the highlight of visiting Anping Old Street. There are so many different street foods that even for locals. Next, visit to Anping Tree House, is a banyan tree that for the past 70 years has grown over and throughout an old warehouse in Tainan City's Anping Fort area. Tonight , spend your time at Garden Night Market. DAY 2 - Tainan - Kaohsiung
Breakfast serve at hotel, A photo stop at Chimei Museum (outlook view only), is a comprehensive museum with wide collections of Western art, musical instruments, weaponry and natural history. Then, visit to Ten Drum Culture Village, an Asia’s first drumming themed international art village. After lunch, back to Kaohsiung, visit to Lotus Pond and Dragon and Tiger Pagodas, is one of Kaohsiung’s most traditional scenic areas. The dragon's throat is the entrance and the tiger's mouth is the exit. Entering a dragon's throat and coming out a tiger's mouth symbolizes turning bad luck to good fortune. Next, visit to The Pier‐2 Art Center, it has been made into a unique open art space, providing artists and students with an environment in which to express themselves, and has already become Kaohsiung's most popular cultural spot. Then, visit to KW2, the 104-year-old warehouse built in suburban Shinhamacho by the Japanese in 1914, to store and transport sugar. DAY 3 - Kaohsiung
Breakfast serve at hotel, Then, heading to Buddha Memorial Center, a center of Buddhism in southern Taiwan. Thereafter, you can shopping at E-Da Outlet Mall, this is the first direct-sell outlet in Taiwan. Many shops provide discounts to satisfy your shopping needs can be seen here (excluded entrance ticket to E-Da Themepark). Tonight, spend your time at Liuhe Night Market (dinner at own expenses). DAY 4 - Kaohsiung - Kenting
Breakfast serve at hotel, proceed to Kenting. Visit to Checheng Fuan Temple. It is the largest temple in Taiwan whorshipping Tudigong. After, lunch, visit to Maopitou. In addition to viewing the "cat-shaped rock", the park also has a variety of rock formation topography landscape and the entire Kenting coastal scenery. Next, visit to Houbihu, the largest fishing port and the yacht port in Kenting. Undoubtedly, seafoods are best served with freshness. There are dozens of seafood restaurants selling fried, steamed, or raw seafoods (at your own expenses). Next, visit to South Bay, the longest bay with a plain slop along the coast making it a perfect place for water activities. Tonight, transfer to Kenting Street. There are a wide range of jewelers, souvenir shops, pubs attract and etc. The streets are over whelmed by warm pleasant atmosphere all the time. Try the delicous southern local food and shopping at your own expenses. DAY 5 - Kenting - Kaohsiung
Breakfast serve at hotel, transfer to Kenting National Park, visit Eluanbi Lighthouse, the landmark of Eluanbi peninsula, the southernmost point of Taiwan with coast covered with coral reefs. The lighthouse is cylindrical shaped colored in white, with a height of 18 meters and circumference of 110 meters. It is also renowned as “the Light of East Asia” for its strong optical power of light that can reach 20 miles at most. Here you also can see Chuanfan Rocks, a giant rock standing in the saves can be seen, looking like a sailboat. After lunch, back to Kaohsiung. Visit to Lover River. The river was also called Kaohsiung Canal. The riverbanks were beautified with greenery works and developed to be park areas, decorated with pillars chained with iron rope. The area becomes a romantic place for lovers to date with, therefore, the river was reputed as Love River. Next, free shopping time at Dream Mall, Kaohsiung City's first international class shopping and leisure center.
