Next, visit Shifen Old Street - experience the release of sky lanterns (one sky lantern for 4-5 people, you need to purchase it at your own expense if you want to go alone). Shifen Old Street is located on both sides of the tracks of Shifen Station, the largest train station in Pingxi area. It is famous for the unique street scene in front of the train gate in Taiwan, which often brings unexpected surprises to tourists. There are quite a few sky lantern souvenir shops on both sides of the street. Then head to Jin Yong Fruit Farm in Hsinchu, where each person can pick 300g of fresh seasonal fruits and enjoy the fun of fruit picking. Afterwards, drive to Miaoli which will take about 1.30 hours by car. After dinner transfer to Hotel and rest.

Today visit to Alishan Forest Recreation Area. An ideal destination that combines natural beauty, historical culture, and outdoor activities, attracting a large number of visitors to explore.

We can take the Alishan Forest Railway(one way only) to appreciate the breathtaking mountain views. This is a classic experience where you can enjoy tea plantations, bamboo forests, and nature along the way. Jie Mei Ponds or known as Sister Ponds, two alpine lakes, tell a tale of tragic love. Mei Pond is circular with a cedar forest, and Jie Pond, larger and rectangular, features cedar pavilions connected by a bridge. The "Three Brothers" and the "Four Sisters" are naturally generated second-generation trees located beside Sister Ponds. Three cypress trees grow in line on top of the felled trunks of red cypress, resembling upright brothers, hence the beautiful name.The "Golden Pig Bringing Fortune"originally a tree stump left from a millennium-old giant tree that was felled, it underwent natural sculpting to form a unique shape resembling a pig.
