ITINERARY / SCHEDULE
DAY 1 - Chiang Rai (Arrival)

Upon arrival, pick-up by local representative and transfer to hotel for check-in.

DAY 2 - Chiang Rai

Breakfast serve at hotel, transfer to Mae Sai at the northern most town in Thailand it’s separated from Myanmar only by a bridge. There are many shops selling an assortment of Burmese shores and souvenirs (Optional tour: enter to Myanmar cost around THB 1500 per person at own expenses). Next, visit Golden Triangle at the intersection between the Mekong River and Kong River, the gate of the borders in Thailand, Myanmar and Laos. Boat trip along Mekong River. (Optional tour: enter Laos cost around THB 300 per person at own expenses). Then, visit Opium Hall. Opium's history, cultivation & usage are explored at this museum, which features a tiny plantation. After dinner, transfer to Chiang Rai Night Bazaar. You may enjoy local snacks at own expenses. After tour, transfer back to hotel for rest.

DAY 3 - Chiang Rai

Breakfast serve at hotel, transfer to Doi Tung (aroung 1.5 hours journey) and visit Mae Fah Luang Garden. The gardens are a collection of flowers and plants from all over the world. Take a walk to Doi Tung Royal Villa. Built in 1988, Doi Tung Royal Villa combines the styles of a Swiss chalet and northern Lanna architecture. Not allowed to take photo inside Royal Villa. Enjoy a cup of Arabica coffee (from the opium filed to Arabica coffee plantation area). After lunch, visit to Long Neck Village. The women wear brass rings around their necks as part of their culture. Continue visit to Singha Park Chiang Rai. It is a scenic park in a farmlike setting with tea plantations, orchards, trails, a tram & a petting zoo. Singha Park is owned by Boon Rawd Brewery, the company who produce Singha Beer. After dinner, transfer back to hotel for rest.

DAY 4 - Chiang Rai (Departure)

Breakfast serve at hotel, visit Wat Rongkhun (White Temple) which is a must-go temple in Chiang Rai for its ornate and delicate white stuccowork. Then, visit Wat Ban Den (Blue Temple). Blue color represents the Dharma, the Lord Buddha virtue code of moral that spread all over the world becomes the doctrine of logically naturalistic as the bright blue sky. This temple displays the contemporary Buddhist art that implied the Lord Buddha ‘s doctrine. After lunch, transfer to airport for flight departure.
