DAY 1 - Istanbul (Arrival)

Upon arrival Istanbul International Airport, local representative will pick up and check in to hotel. Rest of the day is free at own leisure.

DAY 2 - Istanbul

Breakfast serve at hotel, proceed to a sightseeing tour in the "Old City" of Istanbul. We will visit the Blue Mosque, famous for its blue tiles. After that, visit the Topkapi Palace, is a large museum in Istanbul. Then, proceed to visit the St. Sophia Museum, which is one of the greatest religious and architectural marvels of all times. We will end our tour by visiting to the famous Grand Bazaar for shopping. One of the largest covered markets in the world with 60 streets and 5,000 shops, and attracts between 250,000 and 400,000 visitors daily. After tour, back to hotel. Rest of the day is free at own leisure.

DAY 3 - Istanbul - Ankara - Cappadocia

Breakfast serve at hotel, proceed to drive around 5 hours journey to Ankara. Where we will visit Ataturk Mausoleum and its Museum. The final resting place of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk – Father of modern Turkey. The architecture of the mausoleum is a mix of different styles that represent the various Anatolian civilizations. After lunch, we drive around 3.5 hours journey to Cappadocia. After a picturesque trip along the Salt Lake, we will arrive in Cappadocia in the evening for an overnight stay.

DAY 4 - Cappadocia

Breakfast serve at hotel, full day excursion in Cappadocia. First, visit to the Kaymakli Underground City. There are 36 underground cities in Cappadocia and the widest one is Kaymakli Underground City. The Kaymakli Underground City has low, narrow and sloping passages. While the underground city consists of 8 floors below ground, only 4 of them are open to the public today, in which the spaces are organized around ventilation shafts. Then you will be fascinated by Goreme Open Air Museum, the biggest monastery complex of the region. A monastic complex of rock churches and chapels covered with frescoes, is one of the best known sites in Turkey. Have a nice view of Natural fortress in the rocks in Uchisar, the biggest fairy chimney used as a fortress by many civilizations. Here, we will have the opportunity to discover and understand the rich history behind local handicrafts like hand-made carpets, Turkish tiles, onyx and potteries.

DAY 5 - Cappadocia - Konya - Pamukkale

Breakfast serve at hotel, proceed to drive around 3 hours journey to Konya, the capital of the Anatolian Seljuk Empire. On the way, we visit to Caravansaray (also known as Sultanhani Caravanserai) on the Silk Road between Aksaray and Konya which was built in 1299 by Sultan Alaeddin. Visit Mevlana Museum, it is famous for Mevlana Mausoleum belonging to well known great dervish, poet and pioneer of the Islamic mysticism, Mevlana Jelaleddin Rumi. Then drive around 5 hours journey to Pamukkale. Pamukkale is a town in western Turkey known for the mineral-rich thermal waters flowing down white travertine terraces on a nearby hillside. Dinner and overnight at Pamukkale.

DAY 6 - Pamukkale - Izmir

Breakfast serve at hotel, proceed to the Antique City of Hierapolis with the magnificent Necropolis, graveyard and the lime cascade. Where Calcareous Thermal Springs descending over cliffs have created fascinating travertine's in the form of white terrace and basins also known as the Cotton Castle. Thereafter, we continue our drive around 3 hours to Selcuk and visit to Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Destroyed by a deliberate fire in the 4th century BCE and then rebuilt, the great Ionic temple survived until Late Antiquity and the Gothic invasion of c. 267 CE. Once again rebuilt, in 401 CE it was torn down for the last time by a Christian mob. Today only the foundations and a solitary column stand as a reminder of the site where once stood the greatest temple in the ancient Mediterranean. Then continue to Izmir for overnight stay.

DAY 7 - Izmir

Breakfast serve at hotel, drive to Ancient city of Ephesus where we will visit its magnificent library, theater and temples. The grounds of Ephesus are seen entirely on foot. Pathways are signed clearly and easily navigated as you make your way through the park. The ruins are situated on the bank of a hill. The entire ruins are easily covered on foot within two hours. Then, continue to marvelous Village of Sirince where you be able to experience one of the most beautiful villages in Turkey. All the narrow streets of the village belong to the women, selling handcrafts of all kinds, olive oil. You may be able to do shopping and taste delicious wines of the village at your own expenses. Return to Izmir for overnight stay.

DAY 8 - Izmir - Canakkale

Breakfast serve at hotel, drive about 2 hours journey to Bergama to visit the Asklepion, is a famed ancient medical center built in honor of Asklepios, the god of healing. It was also the world's first psychiatric hospital. Then, drive about 4 hours and visit to Troy. Referred to in Homer's "Iliad" and "Odyssey", Troy has in fact nine cities superimposed one upon another. Troy Vl pertains to the famous Trojan War of Homer where the legendary heroes included Agamemnon, Achilles, Ulysses and Nestor on the Greek side and Priam, Hector and Paris on the Trojan side and replica of legendary Trojan horse. Drive to Canakkale for an overnight stay.

DAY 9 - Canakkale - Istanbul

Breakfast serve at hotel, we will cross the Dardanelles, also known from Classical Antiquity as the Hellespont, is a narrow, natural strait and internationally significant waterway in northwestern Turkey that forms part of the continental boundary between Europe and Asia, and separates Asian Turkey from European Turkey. Then, continue to Gallipoli to visit Anzac Cove, Battle of the Nek, Battle of Chunuk Bair, Battle of Lone Pine and The 57th Infantry Regiment Memorial. Gallipoli is also an extensive battlefield during the World War I and the Battle of the Dardanelles. It serves as a commemorative site for the British, French, and Turkish soldiers and casualties who participated, fought, and died during these wars. The Battle of the Dardanelles served as the defining moment in Turkey’s history, where it gained its freedom and nationality. Then, drive around 4 hours journey to reach Istanbul. Check in to hotel for overnight stay.
