DAY 1 - Istanbul (Arrival)

Upon arrival Istanbul International Airport, local representative will pick up and check in to hotel. Rest of the day is free at own leisure.

DAY 2 - Istanbul

Breakfast serve at hotel, proceed to a sightseeing tour in the "Old City" of Istanbul. We will visit the Blue Mosque, famous for its blue tiles. After that, visit the Topkapi Palace, is a large museum in Istanbul. Then, proceed to visit the St. Sophia Museum, which is one of the greatest religious and architectural marvels of all times. We will end our tour by visiting to the Spice Market, is one of the most colorful bazaar of Istanbul that offers numberless spices, Turkish delights, caviar, dried nuts and more. After tour, back to hotel. Rest of the day is free at own leisure.

DAY 3 - Istanbul - Canakkale

Breakfast serve at hotel, drive around 4 hours journey to Gallipoli to visit Anzac CoveBattle of the NekBattle of Chunuk BairBattle of Lone Pine and The 57th Infantry Regiment Memorial. Gallipoli is also an extensive battlefield during the World War I and the Battle of the Dardanelles. It serves as a commemorative site for the British, French, and Turkish soldiers and casualties who participated, fought, and died during these wars. The Battle of the Dardanelles served as the defining moment in Turkey’s history, where it gained its freedom and nationality.

Then, we will cross the Dardanelles, also known from Classical Antiquity as the Hellespont, is a narrow, natural strait and internationally significant waterway in northwestern Turkey that forms part of the continental boundary between Europe and Asia, and separates Asian Turkey from European Turkey. Continue to Canakkale. Check in to hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 4 - Canakkale - Kusadasi

Breakfast serve at hotel, visit to Troy. Referred to in Homer's "Iliad" and "Odyssey", Troy has in fact nine cities superimposed one upon another. Troy Vl pertains to the famous Trojan War of Homer where the legendary heroes included Agamemnon, Achilles, Ulysses and Nestor on the Greek side and Priam, Hector and Paris on the Trojan side and replica of legendary Trojan horse. Drive about 4 hours journey to Pergamon to visit the Acropolis. The Acropolis, which means Upper Town, has the most important remains of Pergamon. The acropolis has been largely founded on a hill is one of the  unique masterpieces of the old settlements as cut-mountain town due the lack of the natural plateu. The places , where the temples, palaces, library, theatre and other necessary edifices have been built, on the big terraces from the begininng of the first settlement. Then, drive about 3 hours to Kusadasi for overnight stay.

DAY 5 - Kusadasi

Breakfast serve at hotel, visit to Ancient city of Ephesus where we will visit its magnificent library, theater and temples. The grounds of Ephesus are seen entirely on foot. Pathways are signed clearly and easily navigated as you make your way through the park. The ruins are situated on the bank of a hill. The entire ruins are easily covered on foot within two hours. Then, continue to marvelous Village of Sirince where you be able to experience one of the most beautiful villages in Turkey. All the narrow streets of the village belong to the women, selling handcrafts of all kinds, olive oil. You may be able to do shopping and taste delicious wines of the village at your own expenses. Return to Kusadasi for overnight stay.

DAY 6 - Kusadasi - Pamukkale

Breakfast serve at hotel, drive about 3-4 hours to Pamukkale. Visit to the Antique City of Hierapolis. Where Calcareous Thermal Springs descending over cliffs have created fascinating travertine's in the form of white terrace and basins also known as the Cotton Castle. Then continue to Pamukkale for overnight stay.

DAY 7 - Pamukkale - Koycegiz - Fethiye

Breakfast serve at hotel, this morning we drive about 3 hours to the lakeside town of Koycegiz. Here we take a boat cruise to Turtle Beach (Iztuzu Beach) and smother ourselves in mud at the local mudbath. The Dalyan river winds from Koycegiz Lake to Turtle Beach (Iztuzu Beach). Cruise down the river and view 2,000-year-old Lycian tombs carved into the rock cliff face above the ancient harbor city of Kaunos. Founded around the 9th-century BC, Kaunos became an important Carian city around 400 BC, and the rock cut tombs were designated for the kings of Kaunos. Then continue to Fethiye for overnight stay. Fethiye is a port city, and district, on Turkey's southwestern Turquoise Coast. It's known for its natural harbor, blue waters and numerous rock tombs.

DAY 8 - Fethiye

Breakfast serve at hotel, visit to Kayakoy Greek Village, Ghost Town in Fethiye. Anciently known as Lebessos and Lebessus and later as Livissi is a village 8 km south of Fethiye in southwestern Turkey. In ancient times it was a city of Lycia, Later, Anatolian Greeks lived there until approximately 1922. The ghost town, now preserved as a museum village, consists of hundreds of rundown but still mostly standing Greek-style houses and churches which cover a small mountainside and serve as a stopping place for tourists visiting Fethiye and nearby Oludeniz. Afternoon, drive to Oludeniz. Oludeniz is a resort village near Fethiye. It’s known for the blue lagoon of Oludeniz Tabiat Parkı and the wide, white Belcekız Beach. You will have opportunity to swim and enjoy your leisure time at beach side. Then, drive back to Fethiye hotel.

DAY 9 - Fethiye - Antalya

Travel between July - December 2019.

Breakfast serve at hotel, visit the stunningly beautiful Saklikent Gorge, Turkey's longest and deepest canyon. Canyons are natural formations in every continent, all over the world. Those rich in flora and fauna, with steep slopes of sharp rock and roaring rivers in their depths are truly astounding to observe. After tracking along the canyon, we will continue drive around 2-3 hours journey to Antalya crossing the natural highlights of the beautiful, Taurus Mountains. Upon arrival Antalya, visit to Duden Waterfall. The waterfall, formed by the Duden River which is one of the major rivers of southern Anatolia is located 12 km north-east of Antalya; which ends where the limpid waters of the Lower Duden Falls drop off a rocky cliff directly into the Mediterranean Sea in a dazzling show. At the spot where the cascades fall into the Mediterranean is an attractive park. In spring when water is plentiful this is a sight not to be missed. Dinner at your hotel and overnight at Antalya.

Travel between January 2020 - March 2021.

Breakfast serve at hotel, we drive to Demre. We take the boat to visit sunken city of Kekova. Kekova was most prominent in the Lycian and Byzantine eras. Then an earthquake destroyed it and most of the city was submerged under water. After boat trip we will continue to Antalya. Dinner at your hotel and overnight at Antalya.

Remark:

  • If the weather condition do not permit to make this tour we will visit St. Nicholas Church instead. It is notable for being the burial place of St. Nicholas of Myra, a 4th-century Greek Christian bishop of the ancient city of Myra, an important religious figure for Eastern Orthodox Christians and Roman Catholics and the historical inspiration for Santa Claus.

DAY 10 - Antalya - Konya - Cappadocia

Breakfast serve at hotel, early departure drive about 4-5 hours to Konya. En-route, stop by Aspendos Ancient Theater. The theater here is one of the Roman Empire's greatest remaining pieces of architecture. Upon arrival to Konya, we tour the Monastery of the Mevlana Whirling Dervishes. Mevlana Whirling Dervishes, also known as the Whirling Dervishes due to their famous practice of whirling as a form of remembrance of God. Then, drive about 3-4 hours to Cappadocia via Seljuk, a fine example of an ancient Silk Road. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia.

DAY 11 - Cappadocia

Breakfast serve at hotel, full day excursion in Cappadocia. First, visit to the Kaymakli Underground City. There are 36 underground cities in Cappadocia and the widest one is Kaymakli Underground City. The Kaymakli Underground City has low, narrow and sloping passages. While the underground city consists of 8 floors below ground, only 4 of them are open to the public today, in which the spaces are organized around ventilation shafts. Then you will be fascinated by Goreme Open Air Museum, the biggest monastery complex of the region. A monastic complex of rock churches and chapels covered with frescoes, is one of the best known sites in Turkey. Have a nice view of Natural fortress in the rocks in Uchisar, the biggest fairy chimney used as a fortress by many civilizations.

DAY 12 - Cappadocia - Ankara - Safranbolu

Breakfast serve at hotel, this morning drive around 5-6 hours to Safranbolu. En-route, stop by Ankara, capital city of Turkey. Where we will visit Ataturk Mausoleum and its Museum. The final resting place of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk – Father of modern Turkey. The architecture of the mausoleum is a mix of different styles that represent the various Anatolian civilizations. We continue our drive and check in to Safranbolu. Safranbolu, a town and district of Karabuk Provience in the black sea region of Turkey. Boasting a glorious collection of old Ottoman houses and bears many other wild buildings with 1008 registered historical artifacts. Safranbolu was added to the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites in 1994. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Safranbolu Ottoman Style Mansion house (Local Guest House).

Then, continue with 5 hours drive to Istanbul. We will end our tour by visiting to the famous Grand Bazaar for shopping. One of the largest covered markets in the world with 60 streets and 5,000 shops, and attracts between 250,000 and 400,000 visitors daily. After tour, check in to hotel.
