Upon arrival, the appointed tour guide will welcome guests at Tan Son Nhat Int’l Airport, Ho Chi Minh City. We will process for lunch at local restaurant then continue the Saigon city tour and visit War Remnants Museum, Independence Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, and Saigon Central Post Office and lastly enjoy free time for shopping bargains at the Saigon Square Market and Ben Thanh Market.

After breakfast at the hotel, depart for My Tho Marina Pier, the gateway to the picturesque Mekong Delta region. Upon arrival, board a wooden cruise boat and begin your journey along the Tien River, one of the two main branches of the legendary Mekong River. As the boat glides gently downstream, admire the scenic beauty of the four famous islets — Long (Dragon), Lan (Unicorn), Quy (Turtle), and Phung (Phoenix) — each named after mythical creatures symbolizing prosperity and peace. Along the way, you’ll pass by floating fish farms and get a glimpse of the impressive Rach Mieu Bridge, a major connection between My Tho and Ben Tre provinces.

Arrive at Thoi Son Islet, where you’ll take a leisurely walk along charming village paths lined with tropical fruit trees. Visit local fruit orchards, taste a variety of seasonal tropical fruits, and enjoy a live performance of Southern Vietnamese folk music (Đờn ca tài tử) — recognized by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage.

Continue the journey with a rowing sampan ride through narrow, shaded canals, where you can experience the serene and tranquil waterways that define the Mekong Delta. Visit a honeybee farm, learn about beekeeping, and sample local specialties such as honey tea and banana wine.

Next, reboard the boat and cruise toward the Tan Thach Canal in Ben Tre province, renowned for its coconut plantations. Stop by a coconut candy workshop to observe the traditional process of making this famous sweet treat, and explore the surrounding handicraft villages, where locals create products from coconut shells and other natural materials.

Hop on a motorboat and continue your exploration along the Tan Thach canal, observing scenes of peaceful rural life — farmers tending to fields, children playing, and boats carrying goods to the market. Then, enjoy a delicious Vietnamese lunch at Viet Nhat Ecological Restaurant, set amidst a lush natural environment. Here, you can also visit crocodile and porcupine farms, see frog and snake breeding models, rest in hammocks, or even enjoy free cycling around the surrounding fruit orchards, coconut groves, and rice paddies.

After lunch, experience a horse-drawn carriage ride through quiet village lanes, offering an intimate look into the daily lifestyle and traditions of the local people.

In the late afternoon, return to My Tho Pier and transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City, arriving in the evening.

Breakfast at hotel, then proceed to Cu Chi Tunnel (40Km away from Ho Chi Minh City center). Upon arrival, we will explore the vast network of underground tunnels from the 1940s, expanded by guerrilla Viet Cong forces during the American War. The local tour guide will bring you to explore some of the tunnels that remain unchanged and see plenty of evidence of the fierce battles that took place here.

Back to Ho Chi Minh City for lunch

In the afternoon, we will visit Ben Thanh Market for bargain shopping.

After that, back to hotel to rest. 

Today dinner will be at your own arrangement.

Breakfast at the hotel, free at your own leisure until meeting time for transfer to airport for flight departure. (Departure transfer provide driver service only).
