DAY 3 - Hobart - Bruny Island - Hobart
Today excursion: Bruny Island Adventure Day Tour | Departs Mon, Wed & Fri at 6:55am, with early morning hotel pick-up available at selected hotels | Returns: 5pm If you like spectacular scenery and gourmet local produce, Bruny is your place; an island off an island off an island at the bottom of the world. Work up an appetite on our morning walk to the The Arch, then indulge in the local gourmet delights for the afternoon. Also known as Lunawanna-allonah, Bruny Island is separated from mainland Tasmania by a deep green channel called the D’Entrecasteaux. Home to a small population of people who prefer to live on the wild side, Bruny is all about beaches, waves, forests and food. We set off early from Hobart to beat the crowds, taking a scenic waterside drive and ferry crossing to arrive on the island. First up? A section of the Cape Queen Elizabeth trail, an easy-moderate 2 hour (7km) return walk that delivers spectacular views from Mars Bluff of Miles Beach and Bruny Island Arch, a mind-boggling natural rock formation. Next stop on our Bruny adventure is the isthmus joining North and South Bruny island – this area is known as The Neck and is the location of Trugannini Lookout. There are 279 stairs to the top where you will be well rewarded with fantastic views! We take a moment here to explore and spot the penguin burrows among the sand dunes. Onwards from The Neck, learn about the local history at Two Tree Point before relaxing for lunch at Adventure Bay, a sheltered stretch of white sand and blue waves, with giant eucalyptus standing proud along the shore. Adventure Bay is the main “Hub” of Bruny Island and the location for our lunch break. You can relax on the beach with some free time and your own lunch, or you can enjoy your lunch break at the very scenic Bruny Island Cruises Seafood Restaurant. A wonderful beachfront location. We re-group after lunch ready for a leisurely afternoon discovering Bruny Island’s celebrated artisan produce. We make stops at Bruny Island Chocolate Company (Award winning chocolate company specialising in handmade cream fudges, chocolate products), Bruny Island Honey (Free tastings of the natural honey produced on the Island and delicious honey ice cream), Bruny Island Cheese Co. (Artisan cheese-maker and Brewer, including cellar door tastings), and Get Shucked Oyster Farm (Producing oysters in the pure water of Great Bay). Highlight:

DAY 4 - Hobart - Freycinet National Park - Hobart
Today excursion: Wineglass Bay & Freycinet | Departs Mon-Fri at 7:30am, with early morning hotel pick-up available at selected hotels | Returns: 6pm Visit one of the world’s Top 10 most beautiful beaches in this not to be missed East Coast adventure. We depart Hobart and travel along Tasmania’s scenic east coast, passing through Orford and Swansea on our way to Freycinet National Park. After arriving at Freycinet National Park, we set off on a group walk to Wineglass Bay Lookout. This moderate 45 minute uphill hike gets the heart pumping before revealing one of the best views in the Southern Hemisphere - gaze out over treetops to a sweeping vista of white sand and turquoise water; the perfect wine glass-shaped bay and the ultimate selfie backdrop. Enjoy the moment, take in the views and let our guides help you with those sought after photographs. The walk to Wineglass Bay Lookout is one of the Great Short Walks of Tasmania and requires good mobility and fitness. It is a 1.3 km uphill walk, before returning downhill. Sturdy footwear / runners are best suited for this walk. From the lookout, you can either return to the starting point with our tour guide, or for the keen hikers, continue down to Wineglass Bay Beach for a longer adventure. Keen to continue your hike? Tick the full Wineglass Bay Beach Walk off your bucket list! The return trail from the lookout to the beach is 6 km and takes approximately 2–2.5 hours. There are about 1,000 steps down to the beach — and, of course, back up again. Our tour allows ample time to complete the full walk. Once you arrive, enjoy lunch in this breathtaking setting, take a dip in the (chilly!) pristine waters, or stroll along the white sands. This is one of Tasmania’s most rewarding walks to a truly stunning destination. Prefer a more relaxed pace? If you choose to return after the Wineglass Bay Lookout, join our tour guide to explore more highlights of Freycinet National Park. We stop for lunch at Honeymoon Bay, then continue to Cape Tourville Lighthouse, another of Tasmania’s 60 Great Short Walks. The Cape Tourville circuit is a gentle, flat boardwalk trail offering spectacular coastal views. After approximately four hours in Freycinet National Park, we regroup and begin the journey back to Hobart. If all that scenery has worked up an appetite, you’ll love our afternoon stop at Devil’s Corner Winery. Perched high on a hill overlooking Freycinet, it’s the ideal place to kick back with a glass of wine at the end of a glorious day. Here we have the amazing fresh local seafood from Freycinet Marine Farm at The Fishers cafe and delicious pizza, pasta , artisan gelato & coffee from the Devil's Corner kitchen. The perfect way to end your iconic East Coast adventure. Highlight:
