    • Annual closure for maintenance will be from 08 July to 18 August 2019.
  • The Castle
    • The Castle Of Good Hope was built by the Dutch East India Company more than 300 years back. It took 13 years for construction only (from 1666 to 1679). It is big , yet unremarkable till you’re standing in front of it. The Castle of Good Hope is situated in Cape Town’s city centre beside Cape Town's main railway station. It is just a few steps away from the central station and the modern shopping malls. When visiting the Castle of Good Hope you will immerse yourself for a journey back in time to the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries.
  • The Company's Garden
    • The garden was originally created in the 1650s by the region's first European settlers and provided fertile ground to grow fresh produce to replenish ships rounding the Cape. It is watered from the Molteno Dam, which uses water from the springs on the lower slopes of Table Mountain.
  • Parliament Buildings, City Hall and the Slave Lodge
    • The Slave Lodge is one of the oldest buildings in Cape Town. The many names of the building over three centuries – Slave Lodge, Government Offices Building, Old Supreme Court, and SA Cultural History Museum – reflect the long and rich history of the building. In 1998 this museum was renamed the Slave Lodge.
  • Bo-kaap (formerly known as Malay Quarter)
    • Hidden in the fringes of Cape Town’s city centre, just beyond the hassles and bustle, you will find this little treasure neighborhood where brightly-colored houses against the milieu of religious mosques is an attraction for many visitors. Trip's Highlights:

  • Seal Island Cruise (The cruising tour duration about 45 minutes with cost ZAR 100 per adult and ZAR 60 per child aged below 12 at own account, price subject to change)
    • Seal Island, also known as Duiker Island is one of Cape Town’s most popular attractions. It inhabits a population of approximately 70 000 Cape fur seals. Besides, some 24 different species of birds can be found on the island. Among them, there are some 200 kelp gulls and small groups of Cape and white-breasted cormorants. If you are lucky, you might spot a few Sub Antarctic skuas and jackass penguins.
  • Chapman's Peak Drive
    • Chapman’s Peak Drive in Cape Town is one of the most spectacular coastal drives in the world. The route winds its way between Noordhoek and Hout Bay on the Atlantic Coast on the south-western tip of South Africa. Chapman’s Peak Drive, fondly called “Chappies” is a must for anyone who is passionate about the awe-inspiring landscape of Cape Town. The sheer drops to the sea below, and the looming mountains above provide the most spectacular sights! The Chapman's Peak Drive also offers breath-taking views of the Atlantic Ocean and wonderful rock formations.
  • Cape Point
    • Lying 60 km south-west of Cape Town in the southeast corner of the peninsula is Cape Point, a nature reserve within the Table Mountain National Park and a declared Natural World Heritage Site. It is at a distance of about 2.3 km east and a bit north of the Cape of Good Hope and takes it probably 20% of the total area of the peninsula. The first thing that will hit your attention will be the shipwrecks scattering the coastline, as testimonials of its great historical significance. If you travel to the tip of the Cape Peninsula, Cape Point is where you will reach.
  • Simon's Town
    • One must-visit place to include in your Cape Town holiday has to be Simon’s Town! A beautiful and warm sea-town, Simon’s Townis synonymous with the treasured African penguins and is a popular tourist destination. • Penguins' Colony at Boulder's Beach (entrance fee Entrance fee of ZAR 452 per adult and ZAR 76 per child aged below 12 at own account, price subject to change)
    • Boulders beach has a colony of penguins set up since 1983. From just two breeding pairs then, it has now grown into a colony of about 3000 penguins, though this number keeps dropping. The beach is some 2 km from Simon’s Town in False Bay, between Fish Hoek and Cape Point. It is home to a growing colony of the endangered African penguins. The entrance fee which you pay (as Boulders Beach is part of the Table Mountain National Park) is used for the conservation of these penguins. At Boulders beach, the penguins nest as from February to August, in simple burrows in the sand or under plants. They moult in November and December.
  • Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden (during summer months)
    • One of the great botanic gardens of the world. Few gardens can match the sheer grandeur of the setting of Kirstenbosch, against the eastern slopes of Cape Town’s Table Mountain.
  • Groot Constantia Wine Tasting and cellar tour (during winter months)
    • Through Groot Constantia's modern wine cellar and see the wine production process in action. After you've worked up a thirst exploring the wine cellar, relax in the elegant wine tasting area and sample the many award-winning vintages available.
