Surrounded by important buildings such as the Great Hall of the People and the National Museum of China, it is the ideal place to experience the grandeur and solemn atmosphere of the capital.
• The Forbidden City – Located at the very heart of Beijing’s central axis, the Forbidden City served as the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties. It is the largest and best-preserved complex of wooden palace architecture in the world. Designed in perfect symmetry along the central axis, the palace is regarded as a symbol of Beijing’s “dragon vein,” representing the pinnacle of ancient Chinese imperial power, ritual traditions, and feng shui philosophy.
• Shichahai Scenic Area  – One of the best-preserved historic districts in Beijing, Shichahai consists of Qianhai, Houhai, and Xihai lakes. With its winding hutongs and tranquil waterways, the area blends remnants of former princely mansions with vibrant local life. A leisurely stroll along the lakeside, accompanied by a cup of sweet-and-tangy Old Beijing yogurt, offers a classic way to experience the city’s relaxed, authentic lifestyle. (Complimentary Beijing specialty – one bottle of original yogurt per person)

• Qianmen Street (Beijing Fun & Starbucks Flagship Store) – One of Beijing’s most representative historic commercial streets, featuring a blend of time-honored local brands and modern retailers. Beijing Fun preserves the traditional architectural style while incorporating contemporary design and cultural experiences. Its Starbucks flagship store, known for its harmonious fusion of Chinese and Western design elements, has become a popular landmark for experiencing the meeting of old Beijing charm and modern urban life.
• Temple of Heaven Park (Circular Mound Altar, Echo Wall, Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests) – The Temple of Heaven is a UNESCO World Heritage Site where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties once held ceremonies to worship Heaven and pray for good harvests. The Circular Mound Altar, used during the Winter Solstice, symbolizes the ancient belief that “Heaven is round.” The Echo Wall is famous for its unique acoustic effects, while the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, with its magnificent blue-glazed tile roof, is the park’s most iconic structure, symbolizing favorable weather and lasting national prosperity.
