Mangala Resort & Spa is the result of an inspiring 15-year journey of rejuvenation, which transformed an abandoned barren mining land, believed to be fallow, into a paradise. Today, the beautiful villas are nestled within a large expanse of palm plantation, exotic flower and herb gardens, fruit trees, rehabilitated lakes and undisturbed wetlands. As the surroundings of the resort started taking a burgeoning turn for the better, the vibrancy of a new ecosystem also began to take form. One of the resort’s greatest achievements is the presence of an abundance of birds and migrating birds that are said to be relatively rare and are seldom visible elsewhere. These migratory birds fly across the East-Asian Flyway from their breeding sites in Northern Asia, and gently settles down at the resort, making it a perfect habitat for over-wintering birds. Mangala Resort & Spa is now home to more than 100 species of birds and blossoming flora and fauna. Every species has its own melody that blends perfectly into the tranquil ambiance, bringing peace and relaxation at the comfort of your own space.
The Lakeside Restaurant is an inviting all-day-dining restaurant offering sumptuous buffet/ unlimited a la carte breakfast (subject to occupancy levels), a la carte lunch and dinner. Guests can choose from the chef’s range of signature local and international dishes.
Mangala Resort & Spa offers a range of on-site activities and excursions including the services of an on-site naturalist and recreation consultancy team who can tailor a personalised activities programme based upon individual needs and requirements.
