Welcome to Vienna. On arrival at the airport we shall be waiting to transfer you to the hotel.
Hotel standard check in time 3pm. You can enjoy free time until your tour starts, information about the meeting place and start time can be found on the information boards in the hotel reception area.
NOTE: IF YOU REQUESTED ADDITIONAL NIGHTS on arrival at the hotel you will have your booking made but the guide of your trip will normally not arrive until the start of the included activities. YOUR TIME BEFORE THIS MOMENT IS THEREFORE FREE. At your hotel they can help you with all the information you need. | The schedules you will find in this itinerary are approximate. TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Vienna city tour. Evening transfer.
Vienna- start with a city tour of Vienna, lasting about 2 hours and a lalf, during which we will see Ringstrasse, the main boulevard of Vienna, the Opera House, the exterior of the Hofburg Palace, passage through the Prater Gardens, Belvedere Castle, Schonbrunn Castle. (If the English-speaking group has fewer than fifteen people, the tour can be conducted in both English and Spanish).
In the evening we include a transfer to the neighborhood of Grinzing, an old wine-growing village annexed to the city and known for its traditional taverns. Free time to dine in one of its typical restaurants.
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: City tour with our local expert in Budapest and Cruise on the Danube.
Vienna – Departure following the course of the Danube to Hungary. We have a little under a 3-hours- trip to Budapest.
Budapest – Arrival. Relax and discover the city on a boat tour along the Danube river; the views of the city and parliament are impressive. Time for lunch after the tour.
Guided tour of the “Queen of the Danube” lasting three hours. Visit to the two areas of the city that are separated by the Danube: with historic "Buda" on one side and cosmopolitan "Pest" on the opposite bank. We will know the elegant Pest quarter, the city’s administrative, commercial and leisure district; and the historical Hill of Buda with St. Matthew’s Cathedral and the Fisherman’s Bastion. Free time after the city tour.
In the evening as an option we will offer you to attend a Magyar show with dinner included.
NOTE: If the number of passengers in very small, the journey can be made by train.
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS. Time to explore Bratislava. Czech landscapes.
We will leave Budapest for BRATISLAVA, the capital of Slovakia and a city alongside the Danube. With an attractive historic center, take time to see the city and enjoy lunch.
After lunch we will continue our journey to the Czech Republic, PRAGUE. Arriving in the evening, we will include a transfer to the Old Town Square. This central location provides a great introduction to Prague, full of energy and touristic activities. You can take your dinner at one of the restaurants offering international cuisines, including Czech, Chinese, Indian and Italian. Return to hotel.
Today’s highlights: City tour of Prague. Visit to Castle. Boat tour along the river Vltava.
Today we will visit the capital, Prague, the Baroque jewel of Europe. Our local expert will provide an informative city tour, which will include outstanding monuments. During the visit we walk through Prague Castle (admission included). Subsequently, we shall take a boat tour on the Vltava River.
In the afternoon enjoy some free time to explore the city.
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Forests and hills of the Czech Republic. Pleasant landscapes of Germany.
We will have an early departure from Prague and stop in PILSEN, in the region of West Bohemia, a city renowned for its beer. Time for a walk through its historic center where we find the Great Square, the cathedral, the Plague Column and a Renaissance-era town hall.
We will then cross into Germany where we will follow a section of the so-called "Romantic Route". Next, we will visit ROTHENBURG, a town that seems to come straight out of a fairy tale, and is considered to be one of the most beautiful villages in the country.
Afterwards, we will head to FRANKFURT. Arrival in the financial capital of Germany in the evening. Free time in the historic city center, where there is a wide variety of restaurants to choose from (from Indian cuisine to Oriental, Italian, international and so on).
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Rhine cruise included.
Today we will take a small Cruise on the Rhine, between the villages of RUDESHEIM and ST. GOAR, undoubtedly the river’s most picturesque section.
After this we will travel to COLOGNE, a city which stands out for its immense gothic cathedral. Then we head to the Netherlands. Arriving to AMSTERDAM in the evening.
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Beautiful dutch landscapes with small houses, canals and mills, Boat trip on the Jsselmeer lake to Marken. City tour of Amsterdam.
Today we have a very exciting day in the Netherlands. We will go to Zaanse Schans with its mills, canals and its typical houses.
Next VOLENDAM, a very picturesque fishing village. A short boat trip from Volendam, will take us to MARKEN (an island that was joined to the mainland by a fixed dike), where the houses there are built on stilts.
We travel to AMSTERDAM where we will enjoy a panoramic visit of the city to see its narrow canals, its official buildings and parks. We will also see the technique of diamond cutting. A large part of the visit will be done on foot, the information will be given through headphones. Time for dinner in Rembrandtplein, an area with many restaurants from all corners of the world and near the red-light district with its liberal values. Return to the hotel.
After breakfast, end of our services. Hotel standard check out time 10am.
