WELCOME TO PARIS! Transfer from airport to hotel and free time to explore before meeting your guide and fellow travellers.
You will receive information about the start of the circuit during the afternoon, or you can check the informative panels in the hotel reception area.

NOTE: IF YOU REQUESTED ADDITIONAL NIGHTS on arrival at the hotel you will have your booking made but the guide of your trip will normally not arrive until the start of the included activities. YOUR TIME BEFORE THIS MOMENT IS THEREFORE FREE AT OWN LEISURE. At your hotel they can help you with all the information you need. | The schedules you will find in this itinerary are approximate. We’ll immerse ourselves in the rich history of FRANCE at the magnificent Palace of Versailles (admission not included), renowned for its stunning gardens. On our return to PARIS, we’ll visit Montmartre, a charming bohemian neighborhood famous for its artists, painters, and cabarets. To fully appreciate the grandeur of Paris, we’ll embark on a panoramic city tour with a local guide, showcasing the city’s impressive avenues and iconic monuments. Afterward, we’ll return to the hotel. For those interested, there is an optional variety show in the evening.

We’ll start our day in central PARIS, beginning with a visit to the iconic Eiffel Tower. You´ll have the chance to go up to the second floor of this famous iron landmark (tickets included). Afterwards, we’ll enjoy a relaxing boat cruise along the Seine, which will last approximately one hour and fifteen minutes. You’ll have a free afternoon to explore the city at your own pace (transfer back to the hotel not included).

Note: If wait times at the Eiffel Tower are too long, we might reschedule the visit to a different time (or on Sunday) for your convenience.

Today, we’ll journey to the heart of FRANCE, passing through the Bourgogne region, renowned for its picturesque vineyards and world-class wines. Our first stop will be Beaune, a charming town in the center of Burgundy known for its flower-filled streets, hospice, and wine museum. After some free time for lunch and a walk, we’ll continue to LYON, the former capital of Roman Gaul, located on the banks of the Rhône River. Lyon´s historic center is a UNESCO World Heritage site. We’ll take a cable car up to Notre-Dame de Fourvière, where we can enjoy a stunning view of the city. You’ll have some free time to explore at your leisure.

Note: In some cases, part of the group will stay in Chambéry, a city near Lyon. In these instances, we’ll travel to Chambéry in the evening for an overnight stay. In the morning, you’ll have time to visit this medieval-style city, the capital de la Saboya, known for its beautiful historic center and impressive castle.

Today, we’ll travel to Switzerland. Upon arrival in Geneva, we’ll pass by the Palace of Nations (the European headquarters of the United Nations) and explore the pretty English Garden with its flower clock and admire the Jet d’Eau, the tallest fountain in Europe.

After lunch, we’ll continue our journey through Switzerland, traveling along the scenic routes by Lake Geneva and Lake Neuchâtel. We’ll drive along the Three Lakes region, enjoying views of magnificent vineyards set against the mountain backdrop. We’ll stop in Neuchâtel, where you can enjoy a walk by the lake, explore the historic town center, or visit the beautiful 10th-century castle. Our journey will conclude in Zurich, where we’ll arrive in the late afternoon.

Note: Depending on the number of passengers traveling from Geneva to Zurich, this part of the trip may be done by train, in which case there will be no stop in Neuchâtel.

With our guide, we will have a tour of ZURICH, the most populated city of Switzerland, and the country’s financial and cultural capital. The city of the banks has twice been declared the city with the best quality of life in the world. Afterwards, we will include a cruise of almost two hours on Lake Zurich. The boat makes brief stops to allow us to see the villages on the way. We get off in RAPPERSWIL, a picturesque little village overlooked by its mediaeval castle. We go back to Zurich by train and appreciate the efficiency and punctuality of the Swiss railways. 

NOTE: Our stage today is different; we travel across Lake Zurich by boat and return by train. The transfers from the hotel to the center may also be done on public transport (depending on the total number of participants). The indicated timetables of the boat we use may change (the itinerary may be adapted accordingly).

Today´s journey has beautiful landscapes with high mountains and lakes. Breathtaking scenery in the region of Interlaken. We will stop in GRINDELWALD where we will have time for a coffee before taking the cable car up to mountain. We will walk along the winding path which will lead us to the suspended bridge. Dare to walk across the bridge amongst the fantastic scenery enjoying glaciers all around us. We will have lunch up in the mountain (included) before heading back down.

We continue to LUCERNE, one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland. In the evening we have time to stroll around enjoying the city. Return to ZURICH and free time in the city before going to the hotel.

NOTE: The guide will offer an optional full-day excursion, starting in the morning. After some free time in Lucerne, we will take a rotating cable car to the summit of Mount Titlis. At over 3,000 meters above sea level, the alphine summit offers breathtaking views of the glacier and the Alps.
