Enjoy these festive treats with friends and family this Mid-Autumn season for a good cause. The National Kidney Foundation of Malaysia (NKF) is partnering with Oversea again this year for the annual mooncakes charity project. All proceeds from this initiative will be donated to NKF in aid of 1,700 underprivileged dialysis patients’ treatment at 28 NKF centres.

The gift boxes come in two designs - earthy and floral which represent stability, elegance and family, all strong elements of the Mid-Autumn festival. The Mooncakes are 100% halal certified and come in two available set types:

Set A: This box includes a normal 4-piece set of; Lotus Paste 1 Yolk, Golden Starlight 1 Yolk, Lotus Mooncake and a Red Bean mooncake for a donation of RM 68 per box.

Set B: This box includes a premium 6-piece set of Lotus Paste 2 Yolk, White Lotus Paste 1 Yolk, Green Tea with Red Bean, Assorted Fruits and Nuts, Golden Starlight Mooncake and Shanghai Mooncake 1 Yolk at a donation of RM 88 per box. 

The proceeds from the sale will be channeled towards the treatment and support of underprivileged dialysis patients, as well as funding NKF’s constant efforts to educate the public on early prevention and management of kidney diseases. 

Besides sharing with the loved ones, members of the public can also extend the joy and celebration by sponsoring the mooncakes to NKF patients and their families. Those who purchase over RM200 in a single receipt will receive a complimentary NKF wristlet.

Donors who wish to do their part for charity by purchasing the NKF mooncakes can access online order form from the NKF website at http://www.nkf.org.my. Payment can be made via credit card, cheque or postal order, as well as cash via deposit or online-banking transfer. Proof of payment is to be attached to the completed order forms and returned via fax or email. Contributors will be informed when the mooncakes are available for collection at the NKF Secretariat office in Section 14, Petaling Jaya. Deliveries to home or offices can also be requested with applicable charges.
