Vietjet Announces New International Route from Ho Chi Minh City to Jakarta

Vietjet announced the opening of a new international route connecting Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) with the Indonesian capital of Jakarta. The new route is purposed to meet the increasing travel demand between the two countries and at the same time boost regional trade and integration.

The announcement ceremony was witnessed by high-ranking dignitaries from Vietnam and Indonesia during the official visit of His Excellency Mr. Nguyen Phu Trong, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam to Indonesia.

The HCMC – Jakarta route will operate daily from 20 December 2017. With a flight duration of 3 hours, the flight departs from HCMC at 8.40pm and arrives in Jakarta at 11.40pm (local time). The return flight takes off at 1.40am (local time) and lands in HCMC at 4.40am.
