ABOUT TAIPEI
Taipei is the national capital of Taiwan. It is in the northern part of the island in a basin between the Yangming Mountains and the Central Mountains. There are 12 administer districts in Taipei City: Wanhua, Datong, Zhongzheng, Zhongshan, Xianyi, Daan, Songshan, Beitou, Shilin, Neihu, Nangang and Wenshan. Taipei is surrounded by New Taipei, the largest city of Taiwan by population and surface area.
